Anyone ever get this?
I was driving back from NM to ND. Somewhere in the middle of SD while dropping into a valley of one of the river crossings I got this warning. Truck limited power. Cruise on 70 which had been for the last several hours.
Truck has 32K miles on it. I run Mobil 1 ESP 0W30. Awesome oil analysis with very little wear.
Ironically, I have the My Guage set to show oil pressure in the bar graph and it was generally running 29psi when coasting down a hill.
I stopped, shut the engine off. Checked (flashlight) for any signs of oil leak - none. Quick check of the dipstick, it was full. Started up and cautiously proceeded for a few miles. Everything appeared back to normal. Finished the trip. Checked the dipstick before starting the next AM and oil looked new (as expected) and was at the full mark.
???
In over 2 million miles of light truck driving, I have never had a low oil pressure warning.
