I have had mud flaps on almost all my vehicles, but the Raptor looks so good without them, I am hesitating getting some. I will rarely take it off road. There is plastic trim protecting the lower rear, and the running boards adds protection up front. But at about $150 for a full set of Weather Techs, it's not expensive protection. Do you all have them? Which ones? How do they look?
I have the RR also and ran I few weeks without mudflaps, any puddles I ran over would leave rooster tail streaks on the sides and look like I went mud bogging.

I have the weathertech flaps and like them. They have no badges, medium length, 20 minute install, direct fit, inoffensive looking.

Everything I wanted, highly recommended but $130 or so.

They are mandatory here in Alberta Canada, but are not included in the base, must be added on.
Why is Canada so strange. If they are mandatory, the manufacturer should include them before the sale, otherwise they are selling you an illegal product

Alberta is a province within Canada, other provinces may have different legislation, I'm pretty sure Ford doesn't want to build 13 different base trucks, no more than they would want to build 50 different base trucks for the US.

The bigger question is why the Alberta government thinks they need to mandate that? Unless they drag the ground and are awfully heavy they’ll never stop all flinging rocks anyway 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve got a 25 Lariat, put the factory flaps on, then added slim running boards. Everything on the bottom of the truck is black (except that annoying lower front fascia panel) so it all blends in fairly well. Frequently hear rocks hitting the running boards, without the flaps there would be a small window right behind the front tires for rocks to hit the front 1/4 panel or maybe door. Having both makes me feel a little better. Even with both I still got muck slung up on the sides with snowy or muddy roads. Of course it’s ultimately what you decide looks and functions best!

Ford adding mud flaps, pre-sale, that Ford offers for sale on their own site isn't building an entirely different vehicle. The US has federal regulations. And asking the buyer to bring their new purchase up to legal standards instead of the manufacturer is a strange demand from the government.

So doing some research on Canada's mudflaps, the requirement is by Province. Alberta requires mudflaps if the tire is not protected by a fender down to the center of the axle on all commercial and non-commercial trucks. The mudflaps must also be the width of the tire. Passenger vehicles do not require them.

The interesting bit is the number of complaints from Albertans who bought a new truck, thought it was legal, drove away, and later got pulled over by police for no mudflaps. When the owners complained to the dealership that they dropped a wad of money on an illegal truck, the dealers said the trucks were shipped without mudflaps and they have no obligation to put them on. That is up to the buyer.

Apparently, the dealers are under no obligation to inform the buyer that they need mudflaps, either.

When government officials in Calgary got a slew of complaints going back to at least 2014, their response was to put out a bulletin and then to state that police rarely ticket for violations.

Nothing was said about the Province government creating a vehicle requirement that makes the buyer obligated to comply but not the dealer who is selling an illegal truck.

Either way, Alberta government officials created a legal requirement they admitted they are not always enforcing but maybe they might, nor did they make it mandatory that the truck must be in compliance at sale with the cost of the mudflaps put in the window as a dealer installed option or factory ordered with mudflaps.

In the US Army, we called this FUBAR.

Everything new I hear about Canada these days makes me believe that entire country is FUBAR.

I used my ford points to get the Ford Branded mud flaps for my ‘24 Lariat FX4. They work well and they were basically free.

That’s probably the OP’s best bet right there 👍🏻
Question for others who have the factory mud guards, did they come with fasteners? Can you reuse the existing fasteners? Raptor_Logic's guards do not have fasteners.

the original fasteneners can be reused if you pull them out without tearing the top off. they have a little center piece you pull up and then it unlocks the pressure off the legs so it can come out smoothly.
