It’s been happening to my display a little more frequently lately, and this is how I remedy it as well.I thought mine was resetting but its actually randomly starting in another view like "trip A." I just hit the Return button on the steering wheel and go back to MyView and its all there.
I think there is something to reset with low voltage. when I drive my truck daily no issue. If I don’t drive it for a few days is resets. Once I put a battery tender on it when I am not driving it daily there has not been an issue.Mine actually reset the other day when my battery got low enough not to start the truck.
Given I lost my settings here with low voltage, I have a sneaking suspicion it has to do with the battery minder Ford has installed on the negative terminal. Probably commands a stand-by mode of certain modules after a certain time frame to reduce current draw, and a full module shutdown at lower battery voltages. I'd bet a nickel that coming out of stand-by reverts to Trip 1 as the start screen, and shutdown completely resets the memory.
AHA!! I think you are both correct. I do indeed notice the exact same behavior when not daily driving. Love this forum. Thx for putting the pieces together!I think there is something to reset with low voltage. when I drive my truck daily no issue. If I don’t drive it for a few days is resets. I drive mine daily to work and back and it still resets a couple times a week. So maybe the issue is a weak battery but not so weak the truck doesn't start.I think there is something to reset with low voltage. when I drive my truck daily no issue. Yes I think that's it. Any time it's gone to the battery saver mode when I restart my dash is back to trip 1 AND the picture of the truck is not a blue Raptor but a black dimmed out barely visible generic Ranger. Did it today, and this persisted through 30-40 minutes of driving and 6 or 7 restarts (was running errands ) before it healed itself. It has done the exact same thing after an OTA update. I've had a few other random glitches, enough it kind of scares me. But usually simply restarting the truck fixing them.Mine actually reset the other day when my battery got low enough not to start the truck.

I put 5k miles on my truck (after it hit 1k miles) driving it from Memphis to Yellowstone and back. I'm about to hit 24k miles, and in 2 weeks will be heading out to Olympic, NP on a 3 week dispersed camping road trip (7-8k miles). I think you'll be fine. Just get an oil change with full synthetic at 1k miles, then send it.I only have 700 miles on it, I'm starting to wonder if I can trust it for this summer road trip...
