Wow, this might hurt my wallet!

How is the noise difference on normal mode to stock? Will my wife notice if she is always in normal mode?
You have a normal mode button for your wife? Where can I buy one?

When we release I will make sure to update this post with pictures of the high clearance BashGuard option as well as additional pictures of the 5" tip options.

We will also be offering up some sound clips to help illustrate the system in action.

Stay tuned!
What's the expected release date?

The only thing I can tell pretty immediately is that the quiet mode will still drone. Unless there’s a trombone (helmholtz) somewhere I can’t see…

Edit: SPD comes out with theirs in a month and it has a helmholtz on it…guess I will wait to see how their offering sounds first!

How low does the equal length pipe sit at the connection? It looks pretty low and perfect spot to take a rock hit :( Feels like it would need a bash plate.

Well I think back to the last Dakota offered which offered a v8 as well as the 1st gen Dakota offered a v8. I am not sure if the Dakota was ever offered without a v8 option being available.
Didn’t seem to cause much of an issue with their full size truck sales before.

‘They will need to differentiate themselves from the competition, I really think offering a V8 would do it. Dodge invented the mid-size truck segment with the Dakota. I am glad they are finally brining it back. Hopefully the Dodge name merges back with Ram by then as well.

‘I do belive there is a decent chance the next gen Gladiator could get a v8 as well.
Only time will tell.
I had a Dodge Dakota with a 4.7L V8 for 4 years. Great drivetrain, the suspension was awful. Still loved the truck. They had an option for the 5.9L V8 in that truck as well but it was older technology and not as fuel efficient at the time.

If Dodge puts a Hemi in a Dakota and gets the suspension right I will jump ship and never look back.

Probably easier for them to shove Hurricane motor in it and call it good though. Hopefully they come through with the V8 at least as an option.

Wake the trail:
The SwitchPath™ Exhaust for the Ford Ranger Raptor delivers a dual 3” catback configuration, tailored tone control, and clearance engineered for the kind of terrain that makes factory systems nervous. Open the valves and let the 3.0TT speak. Close them and settle in for the highway.

Multiple soundtracks, factory control:
At the center is AWE’s signature SwitchPath™ muffler, paired with an OE, tier 1 valve for complete factory-style operation through the programmable interior button and throttle input. Closed, the system delivers maximum comfort. Open, it unleashes the full character of the 3.0L EcoBoost.

Equal length. Equal parts calculated and rowdy:
An equal-length looped front pipe works with a tailored X-pipe to smooth the EcoBoost’s exhaust pulses, eliminate unwanted rasp, and produce a deeper, more refined soundtrack from idle to redline.

Built to crawl. Cleared to fly:
The entire system was engineered around aggressive departure angles, delivering best-in-class clearance and leaving the factory exhaust hanging low in more ways than one. Whether crawling through rocks or coming back to earth, SwitchPath™ stays ready.

Choose your exit:
Finish with dual 5” double-walled, straight-cut tips in Chrome Silver or diamond black, or go all-in with dual high-clearance BashGuards. Each BashGuard™ features a thick, reinforced stainless steel rock ring built to take contact without backing down.

Keep the ECU happy:
An additional valve motor and simulator plate are included to maintain proper factory operation and keep the ECU satisfied after installation.

Less is more:
A clean, straight-through design keeps restriction to a minimum while maximizing performance and tone. No unnecessary complexity. No compromise where it counts.

Pure bolt-on:
The SwitchPath™ Exhaust installs without cutting and is engineered for factory-like fitment from front to back.

Made in PA, USA:
Handcrafted in-house from CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-sourced .065”-wall T304L stainless steel, the Ranger Raptor SwitchPath™ Exhaust is engineered, designed, and manufactured under one roof in Horsham, Pennsylvania.

The fine print:
50-state emissions compliant. Backed by the AWE Perfect Fitment Guarantee, AWE No CEL Guarantee, and Lifetime Warranty.
Team at AWE is the absolute best in the biz! Video of the SwichPath and BashGaurd setup. Also, has SPD downpipes and 35s. Proof you can have both and they fit (barely!). Cold start on a hot day and then a rev in each mode: quiet, normal, sport, Baja.

Will try to get a driving video soon and more next week when I get the BashGuards swapped for the version with tips. Any questions feel free to let me know.

I doubt it’s easier, that Hurricane I6 is a really long motor. Combine that with all the crash / safety regulations, I think it would make for a longer physical dimension then wanted for what is supposed to be a smaller truck then the full-size.

I am betting they go with the shorter I4 turbo for the masses and the SRT models get V8s, Maybe the new smaller V8s they developing or one of the current pushrod v8s . I am really hoping for a 392 Apache under the hood of a mid-size TRX .
