Order Tracker Status

I've pretty much given up at this point.
Spring project's not happening since I really needed a truck to do it.
Summer Vacation that I've been planning and telling the kids we were doing not happening. (Other smaller trips in the works)

Part of me doesn't even want the truck anymore. Dealer claims they have contacted the Ford regional rep multiple times and they have failed to respond to his inquiries.
Worst part I'll never get the trip planned with the kids back. Who know how long before they wont to do trips like this anymore.

Why don’t you look for a similar truck on dealer lots? Yeah it won’t be at the same dealer but unless you ordered a very strange configuration, you should be able to find one exactly the same or nearly so either on a dealer lot or in transit.

You could also rent a truck for whatever reason you needed it for the summer trip.

I have, nothing has been that close. Most of them are white and I don't want white or chrome packages. None of them have the advanced tow package that I have scene either.
I've had my current vehicle for almost 18 yrs. I don't buy new one's all the time and don't want something I will be unhappy with. Thats the reason I've been waiting for the new rangers since 2022.

I also gave up and took an identical stock order. Be sure to get a discount off MSRP. Many dealerships offer steep discounts right now, around 2-4K off MSRP depending on the options.

For me when I ran the numbers I realized the total cost to purchase between a Ranger Lariat and an F-150 Lariat 502A PB was only $7000 dollars it was a no-brainer for me. The two big factors was the significant motivation for dealers to move these 2023 F-150s off the lot and the new 1.9% financing incentive for them. Ford is basically loaning me money so that I can make a guaranteed 5.2% and profit 3.3%. The end result is that this pulls the nominal cost differential down from $23000 to an actual differential of only $7000. That combined with the reports of undercarriage rust and other issues on the Rangers and waiting for an indefinite amount of time was a enough for me to pull the plug on my order.

It was a huge relief when I notified the salesman I was working with on the Ranger order that I was going to start looking at other options. It was like I was instantly released from a trap. He took the news well and said he understood.

Tracker shows truck shipped on 4/30. I tracked it with the CSX phone process through Toledo and Louisville. It arrived in Nashville (rail destination) on 5/4 at noon. Now it’s disappeared from tracking again as we wait for a truck to bring it home to Mississippi. My buddy/owner at the dealership is leaving town this weekend for a 10-day vacation. Hope it arrives soon!

I just picked up my RR TODAY!! I guess I did something positive in a past life (or just clean living), but I got thru the Order to Deliver pretty fast. Here's the timeline:

• Order date: 2/5/2024
• Scheduled week: 5/6/2024
• Blend date: 5/8/24
• Built: 5/12/2024
• Shipped: 5/17/2024
• Arrived to dealer: 5/17/2024
• Picked up and Brought home: 5/20/2024

It is everything I thought it would be and more. Very happy today.

Yeah, it worked earlier this morning and about an hour ago it started misbehaving. Perhaps an update to the site. I'll check back later.

Picked mine up today. Classy black. Got lucky and found one at MSRP with the specs that I wanted. Put down a deposit on 4/30 and waited a few weeks for delivery.

Well I am picking up my Plan B truck today, only 8743 hours after I put in my request with the dealer. My Original order is still sitting at MAP with more than 110 miles on the odometer.

Thankfully my dealer put in an identical stock order in February and then offered it to me. I have a betting pool going with all my staff on when the original will actually show up. Someone even chose "never" as an option. haha. Here is Plan B, just off the truck.

I abandoned my order last week and went with plan B which is F-150 Lariat. I still check the status of my original order though. It has been in production for 127 days now. I'm curious how long it can go.

I am at 114 days in production 13 days after you and watching inventory 50 miles out for a plan B
