Performance Tune In Stock Notification - Uh not so fast

Received the attached email. Sign in, go to product and says not available. Either it sold out within a few minutes or the email was not correct. Anyone else receive and have any luck in ordering?

I wasn't even quick on the trigger. And my truck still hasn't shipped and was built over a month ago at this point.

I had the same issue where it showed out of stock already. I went to ford.com and searched on performance calibration and then clicked on parts and accessories and it came up as available and I ordered to be picked up in a few days.

Tire Rack has the performance tune for much less $$.

Ford has a 25% discount right now and if you have points it goes even lower. I paid $500. Canceled my order with tire rack

Sounds like accessory companies are buying up these units for their stock--like how Ticket Master does for concert tickets.

If all it is, is a re-calibration/tune. How can you be out of stock on it? In the situation of issues found in the tune Ford normally would show discontinued and another part number to replace the previous one and previous purchases a free update. Interesting.

Strange. It still shows as out of stock for me regardless of what method I use to try and search and purchase, other than it appears to be available on non-Ford sites.

You need the physical tuner to plug in. That's what's in or out of stock.

I live in CA and got one from Ford (Ken Grody in Carlsbad) in mid-October. Installed it myself with no problems. Love, LOVE it! No change in gas mileage if I restrain myself and drive the same way I did before installing it.
