This feature is standard on the Lariat but not available on the XLT. It allows you to control the exterior lights—including the headlights, puddle lamps, and bed lights—as individual zones through the center screen or the FordPass app. This turns the entire truck into a 360-degree light source for camping or night projects, a hardware-software integration that is impossible to replicate in an XLT without messy aftermarket wiring.

My 25 XLT has it. only for the front and rear. no side zone. but my xlt is pre wired for heated mirrors and the mirror turn signals and side lights. I used forscan and enabled 4 zone vs the 2 zone lighting mine got, and it gave me the side zones. so I can add my own lights, and wire into the mirror zone lights if I want. or put new assemblies in.

Very nice.
I had forgot about the Canada models were all 4x4.
I was off pretty much the 3K I had figured in my head that the 4x4 option would have cost.

Still, that is a crazy price discrepancy between US and Canada prices for trim levels .

Looks like it is hedged a bit both ways.
They gouging Canadians a few grand on the Raptor models
They seem to be cutting a little bit of break on the Lariat model.

For the 2025 model Lariats I recently bought here in the US, MSRP was right at $54k-$55K.
Paid 48K prox for each of them from 3 different dealers over the past 90 days.

$45K for a very similar Lariat spec is a few grand less than what they charge here in the US.

Canadians get a good discount on certain Cadillac models, too. I'm happy with the price I paid, but it seems much easier to get that discount over in Canada.

The 2024/5 Ranger does have real leather seating surfaces, 2026 changed that to vinyl.

my first post on this forum I tried to figure out the difference between the Xlt with the 301a and technology packages versus the lariat

this was the list I came up with.

The 18“ wheel size is questionable as an upgrade at least for off roading. Ford does charge a lot for the wheel, it’s cool, but not that cool…..

yes, I went by the order guide,

but it looks like the xlt at least right visor is not illuminated and a different part number

I can't remember the last time I used a mirror in the visor let alone needed a light.ed one But my wife says she uses it all the time

I wonder if the xlt has the wiring in place for the illuminated mirrors and homelink?

the steering wheel for the xlt lists vinyl wrapped and is a different part from the lariat

hmm. maybe his has vinyl wrapped steering wheel? it sure feels like leather, especially compared to the plastic crappy xl/stx steering wheel.

yup all for over 5k, so you really need to decide if all or any of those is worth the bump. Coming from a RR, I did not need any of that and settled for the XLT FX4 2.7 and I am happy with the change.

I wanted the 2.7 and cloth seats, therefore XLT. The only thing I wish I had from the Lariat is the 12-inch digital instrument cluster and maybe the heated steering wheel. Auto 4wd from the Raptor would be sweet too.

This is nothing against the raptor or the raptor owners, because I would gladly own a Ranger raptor. But, I would prefer the raptor be its own forum, since so much of its mods and stuff are so different than the other trims.

Every time I search for a mod I’m interested in I find one, only to realize it’s for a raptor and the thread doesn’t apply to the standard rangers.

There’s probably a little jealousy involved. Not gonna lie.

Started my journey looking at XLT and Lariat and with all of the options I wanted, it just made sense to spend a lil more and get the Raptor. Coming from a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk with the Hemi, loving this truck so far!
