WOT is very invigorating...aggressive but not obnoxious...starting to wonder what would happen if i used straight pipe in place of muffler:giggle:
Have you heard a muffler delete yet?
Pops a little on cold start..
Once it’s warm sounds just like an MBRT
Regards
Your truck looks great btw!

Thanks Doc! I've thought about deleting the MBRT muffler with a straight pipe...there would be nothing between the down pipe and the exhaust tip...I imagine that would be much more aggressive than any exhaust system lol...

Is the down pipe etc. “cat less” ?
You could replace the muffler with the stock resonator...if you don’t have a little back pressure you might get a check engine light.

I've done catless on my MINI and Cobat...rather not bother with NC emission testing and all...doesn't make a whole lot of difference in performance...the turbo is a very effective muffler as the tuner world knows:)

See the long salami in the middle? That's the only muffler on the MBRP exhaust...I'm going to try and splice a straight pipe in it's place...

Did you detail it before taking the photos? :) I just got back from a hike and the miles of dirt roads got my truck REALLY dusty and dirty. But it looks good a little dirty.

Seriously, the truck looks GREAT.

You're in town for the Woodward Dream Cruise? I always get sad when I see a classic car broken down on the side of 696.

Question for when you have time. How did you mount the 3100 under the hood? It looks like it's sitting on top of the battery.
