What Model, and Color if I might ask?My build date of 8/12 went “in production” Monday or Tuesday of this week.”
Cactus gray xlt high fx4 tech package. What Model, and Color if I might ask?
The original truck I ordered spent 7 months between “in production” and “built” status…I posted this in another thread, but thought it relevant here as well:
My order went into production last week and my Blend Date was yesterday (8/7) per the pizza tracker. Out of curiosity, I searched AutoTrader for 2.7L Rangers and found a few listed as "in transit" to dealerships. I then picked four of those and found the window sticker to pull the order number. With the VIN and order number for those four trucks, I was able to pull them up on the pizza tracker as well. None of the four trucks I picked have been shipped from the factory. Of those four, the first VIN with a "Built" date in the pizza tracker was yesterday (8/7), and that truck has not shipped. The Blend Date for that truck was 8/5.
For those not aware, the truck will go into production, then a few days later you will see a date added next to your "in production" date. The date added is your "Blend Date." This is the day the truck starts down the final assembly line. The final assembly line takes a shift or two, but your "built" date could be a couple days or more after your Blend Date. On rare occasions you could even see weeks between your Blend Date and built date.
Mine was ordered 5/2 and went into production 8/7. Hopefully I have it soonI just received my 2.7L build date as well. 7/22.

My Ranger Lariat Azure Gray went into production July 31st. Haven’t seen any updates present time. The original truck I ordered spent 7 months between “in production” and “built” status…
I did go look at it when it finally arrived at the dealer. Problems all over! Rust, misaligned and repainted body panels, scratches, faded and swollen trim pieces…
So glad Ford gave all those lazy UAW workers a raise! That’s what you get for giving into union demands!
