Ranger 2.7L V6? What is your build date?

I ordered mine on the 28th of May. Just got a build date of week of Aug 5th. We will see if this one goes on hold for 4+ months.

That's 10k less than they price out in the US. See my summary screen shots that i posted. You all must not have access to some of the us options to be that much cheaper.

I just built a full spec Lariat on the US site. We have exactly the same options in Canada. 4WD is standard equipment here. The Lariats are 10K overpriced in the US and the Raptors are 10K overpriced in Canada. Makes no sense at all.

Converts to $46,687US.

I finally received my email from Ford with VIN # and "slated to begin during the week of August 12, 2024."

2.7 XLT/FX4 Iconic Silver 301A, with Advanced Tow and Tech Pkg--and went with the integrated box side step (just in case I can't live without it).

I checked all over the country and found the lowest price (factoring in flight from AZ to MO) at Laura Ford out of Sullivan, Missouri. If you're looking for a good no-hassle deal, I would strongly recommend them.

Ordered Lariat Fx4 2.7L 5/3; recieved another "wave" email from Ford that they have my order again this week. Still don't have a build date yet.

I ordered an Iconic Silver XLT FX4 2.7L with a confirmation email on 5/4.

On 6/18 I received an email that they are working on my scheduled build date.

"We’re working hard to fine-tune the scheduled build date for your Ranger XLT vehicle."

I hope they are tuning into the most superb time to build my Ranger.

I thought people were saying that the 2.7 wasn't scheduled to be built until like January, has anyone have theirs actually start the build process?

Many of us who ordered the 2.7L in May/June have a build date in August.

Mine just got pushed out to 8/5 also… fingers crossed these dates don’t start slipping endlessly.

I see that some others have had their build date pushed out further into August. Just logged in and checked mine again and it’s holding at 8/5.

Starting to see some 2.7L Rangers showing up on dealer websites this week... I’m not sure if any have actually been delivered to dealers, but they’re on the way.
