How do you aim the light bar? Do you just make sure it is level?

Go out to a dark street with no traffic or lights and aim it the way you prefer. These kind of lights should never be used in the city just off road or where there isn't much traffic and you can turn it off real quick. Don't want to blind other drivers :sunglasses:

I installed my lights for incoming people who drive with the high beams and don't care about other drivers, even when you flash them back. It turned out to be pretty effective, mine are effective up to 900mts away (2700 ft) :) .

The only downside of this behind the grille install is the cleaning of it.

Did you have to have your front camera recalibrated after removing the grill?

I like the light bar! Where did you get the 3 amber LEDs in the top of the grill and How did you mount them?

Thanks. I got the marker lights on eBay but I wish I would have gotten the F150leds.com lights instead. I already have one of them flaking out (diodes dim/flash). Not a wiring issue as I soldered the connections.

You have to drill a small hole behind each pod to feed the +- wires and tie all three into one of the AUX wire points. The pods have 3m type tape on them to secure them to the grille slots. I used AUX1 for the marker lights and AUX6 for the light bar.

Thanks for the details. I also got a set from Ebay, but they are too wide to fit the top 3 slots. They came with 4 pods so I may install them in the 4 open slots in the next row down.

I ordered from f150leds. Really good quality haven’t installed yet but they look nice. I’d like to keep the connectors because they are nice, but I may have to drill a large hole so I don’t know yet.

I’m guessing this light bar doesn’t have DRLs if it’s just wired to aux 6?
