Correct, just all white.I’m guessing this light bar doesn’t have DRLs if it’s just wired to aux 6?

I have a diode 30in bar coming and want to make it work. Would notching out that bracket in the center cause any issues down the line? What is that bracket supporting? Thanks!Just as a public service announcement: you can use this spot as long as your light bar is relatively "thin," from front to back. Mine, sadly, was not.
After seeing this thread, I was glad to see the no mod spot to mount a light bar behind the grille. So I grabbed my 30" Diode Dynamics bar and set out to install it today. Only problem is that my light bar is not a smallish rectangular shape like the Altiq one, mine is sort of like a triangular shape. Lots of finned, surface area, I can only assume to aid in cooling it?
The bracket is in the way but you can see the triangular shape of the light bar here:

Can see in the image below as the light bar makes a straight line after hitting on the center support, that pushes the near end out too far to have the mounting hole match up or even fit behind the grille.

Long story short, it's too deep and was hitting on the center "support," and won't fit. Only option I could see would be to notch out a piece where I circled in red.

One little tidbit is that you don't have to unhook the wiring to the camera or the hose to the washer for the front camera, just let the grill sit and hold it with a bungee:

There is a guy that did it, goes by flaberdoopin or something like that on YouTube.I have a diode 30in bar coming and want to make it work. Would notching out that bracket in the center cause any issues down the line? What is that bracket supporting? Thanks!

Thanks, I watched it. Seems like I will have to notch out part of the grill too. Nothing like cutting up a brand new truck to keep things interesting! They're is a guy that did it, goes by flaberdoopin or something like that on YouTube.
Curious if you're able to make it work. I had this light bar on another truck and not only did I really like the amber light output; they're not cheap so I don't want to have "wasted" the money. Thanks, I watched it. I got it to work. Notched out that spot on the support bracket and had to dremel off a few sections of the grill. I’ll make a detailed post later.
Thank you! It’s the Diode SS30 Amber Bar. You can use Richie as your coupon code and it should give you a little discount. What lightbar is this? Looks great! Love the amber color, too...
