Hi folks, just received my '25 RR and sadly I'm experiencing what has been described here as inconsistent ride quality and most frequently very stiff ride.

I test drove one at a local dealership and was very pleased with the ride, but by the time the vehicle I purchased arrived (from another dealer out of town), I was frankly pretty surprised at how jittery and uncomfortable the ride was. It's undeniably different than the car I test drove and almost intolerable.

Twice in the last few weeks the ride has randomly been excellent. Very comfortable and without jitters. But then upon coming back to the car later, the stiff ride has returned.

Yes I've checked tire pressure and lowered significantly (36 all around now). I've also hooked up Forscan and done a ride height calibration, resulting in 0mm all around. Nothing has seemed to make a meaningful or lasting difference. At highway speeds (65+) the ride is smooth and comfortable, but anything lower than that it feels like it's going to rattle my teeth out.

Frankly this is a bummer. I love the truck otherwise, and certainly didn't expect it to ride like my Porsche Cayenne's air suspension but at full stiff it's pretty terrible and flies in the face of having adjustable suspension in the first place. There is virtually no difference (with my problematic truck) between Comfort and Sport.. so what's the point?
I'm experiencing exactly the same issue. Have 550 miles on my RR. But ride seems to be getting better as I drive it more. Shock setting did not change the ride much if at all. Sometimes ride is great but the rough ride seems hit or miss. Maybe the suspension is in learning mode? Anybody have information on the suspension and if adapts over time?

I finally recalibrated my suspension using Forscan Lite (mobile phone) since I used a 2.25 perch collar to lift the truck.

Night and day difference in ride quality after the recalibration.
It really does help significantly. Just don't let AlpineBike hear your real world experiences - he's been on the phone once with Fox and knows the calibration doesn't do anything :giggle:

34 psi front, 30 psi rear, when truck is not towing or loaded has made a world of difference.

The Next Gen Ranger Raptor has a stiffer ride than my PX3, the engineers responsible got into a loop of "if we make it stiffer the lap time will improve. Oh the lap time improved let's make it stiffer" and nobody told them to pull their heads in (don't ask how I know). They ruined the "magic carpet" ride of the first Ranger Raptor, which was comparable to the older F-150s (pre live valve). This is the result. There's a couple of other downgrades compared to my original RR, the seats being a big one.
Ah, fond memories of the Ford test track…

But did nobody tell the engineers that track times are not that relevant for a Baja rally race? Completely different conditions.

Do you mind sharing how to accomplish this? I have Forscan Lite (for mobile) installed and connected but im having trouble navigating through the app to get this done.

Thanks in advance!

Happy to report that about 1,000 miles into ownership and my ride quality issues appear to have smoothed out, so to speak ;)

Things started to improve around the 500-700 mile mark, with the frequency of "soft" rides outweighing "hard" rides. Over time that has continued to improve and now I cannot remember the last "full stiff" drive I experienced.

Odd, no doubt.. but it is what it is I suppose. At least my truck feels good now and is very enjoyable and comfortable to drive.

I'm finding the same results now. There must be some learning going on after resetting ride height calibration. I kept resetting mine thinking i was going to get better results. Stopped messing with it and after awhile the ride is way better. Happy now.

I noticed something similar on my way home from Moab this past weekend. Truck has always been buttery smooth. I did the Forescan ride height reset at about 5k miles after lift kit and didn’t really notice any difference. Driving back to CA after 2 days in Moab I noticed the truck wasn’t soaking up potholes and highway ruts like it used to. I now have about 8500 miles on the truck. I drove the truck pretty hard on parts of Top of the World and Hells Revenge where it was wide open desert type terrain. Anyway, after about 300 miles of my 1000 mile trip home I noticed the ride was much smoother. I think there’s a bit of lag in the live valve sensors and it takes them a little while to recover from 50+ mph desert mobbing as well as rock crawling suspension twisting.
Sorry for the long post, but just my experience.

I remember reading this thread and thought "well im glad i haven't experienced this". But unfortunately today i can report I have.

got off highway, went onto dirt road and put into offroad. Super stiff, washboard rattled truck hard, going up a fairly rocky road was lets just say bumpy.

hiked for a few hours and went to leave, suspension was butter. going down the rocky road was way easier and smoother and i hit 50-70 on the washboard and it was smooth.

about 3k miles exactly on truck. stock height no mods, tires at 39 beadlock factory wheels.

idk if its a module or suspension issue. but i will say maybe i was just in more of a hurry back out? the truck has always seemed to be smoother pushing it more instead of babying it.
