Hi folks, just received my '25 RR and sadly I'm experiencing what has been described here as inconsistent ride quality and most frequently very stiff ride.

I test drove one at a local dealership and was very pleased with the ride, but by the time the vehicle I purchased arrived (from another dealer out of town), I was frankly pretty surprised at how jittery and uncomfortable the ride was. It's undeniably different than the car I test drove and almost intolerable.

Twice in the last few weeks the ride has randomly been excellent. Very comfortable and without jitters. But then upon coming back to the car later, the stiff ride has returned.

Yes I've checked tire pressure and lowered significantly (36 all around now). I've also hooked up Forscan and done a ride height calibration, resulting in 0mm all around. Nothing has seemed to make a meaningful or lasting difference. At highway speeds (65+) the ride is smooth and comfortable, but anything lower than that it feels like it's going to rattle my teeth out.

Frankly this is a bummer. I love the truck otherwise, and certainly didn't expect it to ride like my Porsche Cayenne's air suspension but at full stiff it's pretty terrible and flies in the face of having adjustable suspension in the first place. There is virtually no difference (with my problematic truck) between Comfort and Sport.. so what's the point?
I'm experiencing exactly the same issue. Have 550 miles on my RR. But ride seems to be getting better as I drive it more. Shock setting did not change the ride much if at all. Sometimes ride is great but the rough ride seems hit or miss. Maybe the suspension is in learning mode? Anybody have information on the suspension and if adapts over time?

I finally recalibrated my suspension using Forscan Lite (mobile phone) since I used a 2.25 perch collar to lift the truck.

Night and day difference in ride quality after the recalibration.
It really does help significantly. Just don't let AlpineBike hear your real world experiences - he's been on the phone once with Fox and knows the calibration doesn't do anything :giggle:

The Next Gen Ranger Raptor has a stiffer ride than my PX3, the engineers responsible got into a loop of "if we make it stiffer the lap time will improve. Oh the lap time improved let's make it stiffer" and nobody told them to pull their heads in (don't ask how I know). They ruined the "magic carpet" ride of the first Ranger Raptor, which was comparable to the older F-150s (pre live valve). This is the result. There's a couple of other downgrades compared to my original RR, the seats being a big one.
Ah, fond memories of the Ford test track…

But did nobody tell the engineers that track times are not that relevant for a Baja rally race? Completely different conditions.
