Nice thanks for that I’ve ordered a pair. Was thinking the pirate camp co but they were triple the price. I’ll fit my old ones on my dad’s wildtrak.
I've posted on fb about this and got some responses. I also emailed both UPR and SB several months back asking. From what I've seen it sounds doable. I'm attempting today and will post results for you. One person on fb said they drilled and used automotive silicone inside and out to seal, that's what I'll be doing.
How did you get the display window so dirty already?Did the install today, I went with the non-oiled filter. No clearance issues with the hood, etc. A bit awkward getting things in place with all the heavy rubber seals and clamps, but the kit is really well made and does fit perfectly. Install took around an hour.
Flashed the Ford Performance Calibration about an hour later. I can hear a bit more turbo whine but it's not that noticeable.
Finished up. Went as planned, drilling was a bit scary but used liberal amounts of auto sealant afterwards. No CEL, everything running normally!
