The Works Service price (?)

Is Quick Lane supposed to be cheaper than scheduling online with service? I never knew about that if that’s true.

100%. Its only there to do things like oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, new tires and alignment, etc. Simple stuff. But, they are tied to the dealership ao everything is still Ford and logged for warranty and stuff. Quick lane is the way to go. I only go to Planet Ford service for real repairs/issues and warranty work.

i use the quick lane also here in corpus christi at the sames ford. i have been going to this dealer since 93. their service dept did the first oil change on my wife's first brand new car, a 2014 escape, back in 15. they forgot to put oil back in and the engine started knocking about half a mile down the road from their shop. they gave us a 2015 to replace the 2014 and we didn;t have them do oil changes for a long time, but i still had them do all the recall work and stuff like that because our other ford dealer is autonation, and i have worried about those guys since my kids know many of them and they all say some questionable things about working there.

but since same ford built the quicklane, that is where i take mine and my kid's trucks for the trans fluid/filter changes and full service stuff, if we are kind of pressed for time. the three guys that work at the quicklane are really good guys and have been certified ford techs for over 20 years, each. they all have one or two younger guys who work under them and they make sure the work is good. they even bring up stuff like using forscan to turn on stuff when we are talking about adding things to the trucks.

Thanks! I called different dealers and got price quotes for the works service, but will give Quick Lane a try and see what the price is.

How much are yall paying for the Works service for the RR in your area? I want to go to dealer for servicing as there's not much Ford indy service shops near me, but the price seems high for pretty much rotating tires and full synthetic oil..

83 dollars for a works oil change semi synethic oil from newhampshire.

I think I'm winning so far, $45.96 with tax for the works in Tulsa, OK. They sent me a $25 off coupon since I used them to install my FP tuner and never went back. Not full synthetic btw.

Every once in a while, I get coupons in the mail for a $50 Quicklane service, but it usually expires before I need one.

Just reached out to like 4-5 surrounding dealers and everywhere quotes $150-$200 and no difference between coming in vs quick lane.

I asked about getting my Edge ST done in Lake Havasu City and they quoted $200 for full synthetic. The thing about the works is what they are are actually going to do that is not just done with a pencil. On my 2012 Flex that just had a Works service one of the tires was coming apart and they never even seen it when they did the rotation. The tread separation was very obvious.
