UAW Strike moved my build date

On Saturday, a day after the strike occurred, my build date moved to the right by exactly 2 weeks.

Any Canadians get a VIN yet I ordered Sept 5 23

IMO, UAW lost a lot of bargaining leverage and probably a lot of public sympathy to their cause once this surfaced.

He has been making a lot of very outlandish claims about automakers and their financials without producing any data that proves what he's saying is true. In general his playbook has been a very "populist" route that we've seen a lot in the country over the last 7 years that is better at firing up emotions (in an us vs them mentality) than it is producing data-driven facts and analysis to actually back up the claims being made.

I ordered in May and recently got the VIN and a build date for the week of Oct 2nd. Still hasn't changed though I am guessing it will sooner than later.

I would also add that it was obvious it was bad faith from their initial outlandish offer. People here act like that's how bargaining works, but it's not. Yes, it's true that you want to start your bargaining high to have wiggle room but asking for 40% increase and only 32 hr work weeks along with all their other benefits back is nothing but extortion.

I live in Ontario & ordered my Ranger Raptor on June 6th. I JUST called Ford Canada and asked for an update, they said that my truck is currently in "order scheduling". He wasn't able to provide any additional information. No VIN has been assigned as of yet either.
