Seeing y'all's move dates to Nov. I haven't even been scheduled yet. Makes me think I'll get it next year. Ugh

I ordered May 31st and still am not scheduled. Didn't really order it expecting it this year... If it comes by this time next year I'll be thrilled.

This is my latest...10/23...any bets?? Don't really care too much, my '19 only has 24k miles, probably going up in value every day of the strike. I'd just like the new style and features, and been looking up "Sasquatch Edition" decals online?

Mine is now showing December 11th so it’s official I won’t get it in 2023. Going to take a hit to my current vehicle’s trade-in value as I’ll probably bump over another mileage milestone with the additional months.

10/23....now also 12/4....big jump.

I think Ford has done the math on what UAW wants, and what it would cost them going forward indefinitely, and weighed it against the cost of holding out and losing some sales for some temporary period of time, and decided it's better to bite the bullet now. That's the meaning of their last best offer. It's probably true. Keep on giving more, and it only gets worse down the line. Anyway that's what I would do, because I lived it. Not that anyone at Ford asked me!

Same thing happened in the steel industry. The Big Three... USS, Bethlehem and National Steel, were held hostage and gave in to excessive demands at most every contract negotiation, too much in wages and bennies, and too many people to make a ton of steel. Heck at one time our single plant gave in to allow 54 janitors on the schedule, contractually! Totally wacko. Non-union mini-mills, mostly in the south, had lower MH/Ton (higher productivity) and ate our lunch (with NO janitors, lol). It got so bad hourly guys were BEGGING for us to shut down so they could collect an extra $400/month in shutdown benefits! I got tired of hearing the whining at every monthly hourly shop safety meeting. When we did shut down, and the company went into the next chapter of their life, which was Chapter 11, the much cherished extra $400 went away :crying:. And to add insult to injury the steelworkers blamed the company for bad management for giving in to all the demands which made them uncompetitive! You can't make this stuff up. I want my truck, but I am also a stockholder, and want a strong Ford. I had 4 years of Spanish in high school, and if my truck is hecho en Mexico, so be it.

Since these are pretty low volume vehicles, why couldn't they just import them from factories already making them. That would free up capacity for the Broncos.
