This black is a dark cave. I'm ready for a lighter color interior like something in a desert sand.
I love the looks of the black and grey myself. I am really in hopes that it is a real change.

I have always hated the red accents. That Red is simply way too loud for me.
I started a thread on here when I first got my 24' RR about how I was looking for ways to get rid of those red accents. LOL

I do like tan interior as well, only since I wear a lot of blue jeans of which with my past experiences with light color leather seats is that blue jeans tend to stain them, where dark leather is not ever been an issue.

I may trade my 24 for a 26 if that pans out to be truly what that interior is going to look like for 2026.

If you live near FT Campbell, there is a Katzkin leather seat cover and interior installer in Nashville and several in my old stompin' grounds, Louisville. Might be worth checking out what they can do for you.

Ha! My '06 Frontier had a desert color interior and at some point I could see a blue shading on the outboard edge of the driver's seat. Some days I miss that truck.

Ok, good to know. Thanks. I'm east of Campbell, north of Nashville, and south-southwest of Louisville. 🤣 Katzkin does have some nice seat upholstery. I would have to see if they offer some matching leather for at least the door arm rests so it doesn't look like aftermarket seats bolted into the cab.

I bought it in July of last year. I found it on eBay at Montrose Ford in Ohio. $500 under MSRP. I put $25K down and was able to pay it off in 7 months. I know Bell ford wanted $15K over sticker back then.
I was able to get mine at sticker from Bell Ford on 10/8/25.

I originally started at AutoNation Scottsdale and they were at +$20k, which put OTD somewhere around $87k. Chapman Ford also wanted a market adjustment, and Peoria was $10k over. Pretty ridiculous...

The sad part is that AutoNation Scottsdale is the closest dealer to me, and they’ve actually been able to move these Rangers for $80k+, which is probably why they keep doing it.

It's funny. I bought my Explorer ST at Bell ford in 2021 so I figured here would be some love there as a repeat customer. I even went back to my sales person but no.

Not trying to be mean here, but if you’re worried about affording a $70k truck, you shouldn’t buy a $60k truck. I make a substantial amount of money and even I had a hard time justifying it.

I agree in principle, but and a big but:
1. Most people won't retire with 2M in the bank, that's okay.
2. I didn't interpret OP's concern as "afford" rather it was a question of value. Whether the truck is worth the money not whether OP has the money.

I am more upset then worried. I'm walking into a dealer saying take my money. What happens after? Your total OTD price is $68k blah blah blah. (not including the finance part)

What do you mean exactly? Like you don’t know how much it’s ACTUALLY going to cost?

What's the vehicle tax percentage in California?

Here in Kentucky it's 6.0% and no tax for the trade. But! We pay roughly 1% on trade-in value every year at registration time. I despise that yearly vehicle tax too. Last May, after paying registration and vehicle property taxes for the Jeep and two motorcycles, I said I'll move before next May. Well, that's not likely to happen because houses aren't selling and .... Ah crap, you guys don't want to hear this. It just sucks and I'd rather shoot myself than pay that vehicle properly tax.
