what parts interchange between 5g and 6g rangers? broncos and 6g rangers?

what parts can by pulled form the junkyard or marketplace that can be used on the g6 trucks but are not 6g parts?

i know some people have the side steps from a 5g on their 6g trucks. and some people have bronco skid plates and suspension. also, some tonneau cover fit. so lets try and find out what can be used because it might be less expensive for some parts if they fit both, to just buy the 5g parts, like leveling spacers and blocks. and also, since the level spacers look peculiarly like the f150 spacers, what is the measurement between holes on those? that would definitely make it easier to find stuff on marketplace if things interchange.

i don't like paying 1k for something just because it says 24/25 on it if the same parts from 19-23 fits and is only 500.

does the cat back system from a 5g 2.3 ranger fit a 6g ranger? it looks the same in the terrible pictures online but i don;t even know anyone with a 5g ranger to get under and measure the mounting points for the hangers. since the truck changed a bit, maybe the exhaust won't fit, but if it does, thats a much cheaper part.

what do you guys know fits and doesn't? maybe we make a list?

I was able to do a super quick switch-er-roo at the dealership and keep my ‘19 headrests that flip down.
Its a win-win, someone out there is driving my 19 and they have 2024 headrests!

Non Raptor Bronco wheels fit non Raptor Rangers.

I can confirm 5G steps fit 6G.

From 5g: Bed cover, Sub box underneath rear seat, 3rd brake light, I think BOV but can't remember.

Bronco to 6g: depending on model 2.7/3.0 Bronco, quiet a few things.

Not all tonneau covers! I just went thru a hassle. Bought a gator efx cover via amazon. Said it should fit 19-25. It may have physically fit but the mounting hardware was way different. Sent it back and bought directly from realtruck thru here. different part number between them, too. The one from amazon ends in “22”. Realtrucks ends in “33”.
