Just picked up my 25 RR and see that the titre PSI shoild be 39 all around. TPMS is showing 43-44. I'm going to bleed down to 39 but was wondering if anyone is running anything other than factory 39. This would be for on road/asphalt.

Yeah 39psi cold is what I run. There’s many comments here about dealers not lowering pressures for customer delivery

They come over inflated from the factory for transport

I'm running 40 in Norway with studded tires.

What is a chalk test?

I run my 2025 XLT at 35 cold, as that is what the sticker says to keep it at. Yeah when mine arrived earlier this year, it was at like 40 psi and you could tell with the ride being a little rougher.

I was thinking the same thing so I Googled it.

" The tire chalk test finds the ideal tire pressure for even tread wear by drawing a chalk line across cold tires, driving a short distance (forward and back), and checking if the chalk wears evenly across the entire tread or just the center/edges, indicating over- or under-inflation. Center wear means overinflated (let air out); edge wear means underinflated (add air), while even wear signifies correct pressure, a key technique for off-roaders and anyone with aftermarket tires to optimize grip and safety.

At the Assault course they run the stock wheels/tires at 32 PSI front and 28 rear. I run mine at 32/32, for a better ride. I also run my 2 door Wrangler at 32/32, same tires. Seem to wear evenly.

When I got the truck from the dealer, the psi was 47 all around. I thought that was a bit much and then saw both the app and the door panel that shows 39 is the recommended. So, I set them to 39 psi cold.
