As far as I can tell, the Tremor will have the following differences to an FX4 (assuming spec is similar to Oz)

- Bilstein tuned suspension (?) with 1" more ground clearance (some of this may be due to the larger tires)
- upgraded 265/70r17 tires (vs 255/70r17)
- +45 offset wheels (vs +55)
- Aux switches
- Styling
and off road lights in the grill. that weird rectangle lookimg thing next to the headlights.

I just bought my truck 4 months ago. It’s a 25 xlt. I buy a vehicle with the assumption that I’ll have it for at least ten years. I researched trim options, cost of diy upgrades, vehicle cost and weighed them against my vehicle needs and wants.
So in short, I don’t care what features a tremor model has to offer. I wouldn’t even consider it. If someone else wants to, then more power to them. Their money and their choice. I’ll wait and see what Ford has to offer in 2035 or 2036.

The Tremor stuff easily could be an aftermarket suspension/lift kit, without the front locker. Even a XL could be well rounded with that suspension/lift kit.

Not trading my Lariat. Might trade my wife's Escape. My sales guy who owns a 2023 Ranger Tremor is not trading. He said that the engine will most likely be the 2.7L Ecoboost, reserving the 3.0 for Raptor. Does not think the 3.5L will be available. Expect unique rims and tires, decals, etc. Possible lift. He thinks Raptor will need upgrades such as swapping FOX shocks for Bilstein and other tweaks but at $60K or more for RR the Tremor will bite into those sales.

Upgraded towing and carrying capacity from a Raptor. Upgraded off road capability from an XLT or Lariat. 🤷‍♂️
Towing capacity isn’t an upgrade from the RR. The RRs lower towing capacity only comes from its fox live valve off-road suspension. The Tremors suspension would be a downgrade from that, hence the higher towing. I could just as easily buy some airbags for my suspension if I wanted to tow more. It’s also a midsize truck. I could see can an argument here if these were full size trucks but if you’re worried about towing capacity in a midsize then you bought the wrong truck to start with.

The 2024 tremors only came with the 2.7 so the powertrain will also be a downgrade.

will the tremor have the same seat material as the lariat (active x) or the RR (leather)? If it’s the lariat active x then the tremor interior is already starting off with a downgrade.

If the Ranger market follows the f150 market then the resale of the Ranger tremor will be worse than the resale of the Ranger Raptor. This would be a significant down grade if the Ranger market follows the f150 market here.

so yes. The Tremor is a downgrade and again I am good. The single thing it will do better at is towing. However, this will be at a downgrade to the suspension and if you’re worried about towing you should be looking at f150s anyways. Even the f150 raptor has more towing capacity than the Rangers.

It sounds distinctly like you might not be the target market for this truck. If you love your Raptor, then carry on. The Tremor (in both the global Ranger and domestic F-150 markets) sits between an FX4 and a Raptor capability wise. And an XLT/Lariat/STX has more carrying capacity and towing ability than a Raptor stock. If you want to go down the modification rabbit hole then be my guest. Personally I would probably take a 2.7 Tremor (depending on final options and equipment and if/when it's ever released) over a Raptor. The global Tremor is basically plug and play for what I would want in a truck. YMMV obviously.

Also, there was no 2024 Tremor available in the US and globally the 2.7 motor wasn't available either.

I would consider one if they don't price it out of the ball park. If it's not too much more than FX4 and would come with all the options standard on it like the Maverick Tremor(hitch and adv towing package, spray in bed liner, 1 inch factory lift, bed rail system etc). My brother just got one and it's nice.

My thought remains the same. If you’re worried about towing in a midsize size truck then you bought the wrong truck to start with. I have a f150 Lariat for towing. But even a f150 Raptor would have more towing capacity than anything the Ranger line offers. You speak of towing like it’s detrimental when speaking of a mid size truck. I would suggest looking at f150s and go up from there.

You asked what the "upgrade" was. I gave you a few. If you can't see the benefit then I strongly suggest you keep your current truck lol
