Who wants a V8 in their ranger?

Hello all, I have both the ranger Raptors and a 21 Bronco...I decided to install the 700HP Predator 5.2 supercharged V8 from a F150 Raptor R into the Bronco. took six weeks but its a success! hers a video of the first start... since the Ranger and the Bronco are of such similar architecture and design it would be no big thing to swap a coyote V8 into a ranger if someone wants it done?

I’m think I’m the only one here who prefers turbos! I grew up as a teen in the 90s and it was all about Japanese turbos. So having a v6 twin turbo that makes turbo noises and has that iconic on-boost feel for me trumps having a thumping v8

Not saying I don’t love v8s! If the Ranger only had a NA V6, then sure give me that V8!! But something about twin turbo v6…. Makes my teenage brain tickle

I have often wondered why we don’t see performance shops doing crate v8 swaps like this, I mean I have seen specialty shops pop up for other brands of vehicles like Jeep for example.
Shops like this one v8 swapping Gladiators.



We need a ford performance shop like that specializing in Ranger and Bronco v8 swaps.

it looks like the cool hot rod swap right now is to put the 2.0 ecoboost in cars and up the boost. epople are making super sleepers pulling the motors out of escapes and putting them into rwd vehicles.

That is freaking rad! Did you swap transmission to a 10R80 or just build out the 10R60?

I would love to have the Hybrid (PowerBoost) with the optional 7.2-kilowatt outlet. I 'am in hurricane territory so having a truck that can power the house solves some issues for me.

I just spent a ton of money with a Turbo upgrade, Intercooler, Chargepipes, Downpipes, etc, etc. on a brand new Ranger Raptor turbo V6. if I had a choice, I would pick a Supercharged Coyote every time over and over without fail. You cannot beat the instant throttle response of a supercharger over a turbo especially in off-road.
