Starting my dream build of a V8 Godzilla re-powered Stealth Black Ranger Raptor.

Well it’s no secret around here how much I love Rangers especially the Ranger Raptors.

After hearing the news last weekend about Juicy Motorsports and Maxlider Brothers teaming up to build these awesome v8 conversion Bronco’s and Rangers , I have been well, obsessed with getting one.






The only thing I truely wish the Ranger Raptors had was a v8 under the hood.

Thanks to those guys, it’s going to become a reality, I won’t be the first guy to get one built , I am told there is two others ahead of me already.

I thought I would kick off this thread with how this project is starting out.

I was told when speaking to Juicy Motorsports earlier this week that the truck would need to be either a 2024 or 2025 model.
‘So with that in mind and knowing there were 0 changes for 2026 and there were a lot of good deals floating around out there still on brand new 2025 models.
I kicked this project off this morning with the purchase of another 2025 Ranger Raptor.

This truck here is going to be the bases for this insane dream build.
Bought her this morning for 55k OTD.

I thought you only drove white trucks?

I am planning to copy this look, least wise of the Xpel Stealth wrap.
It will be getting the same wheel and tire combo that’s on my white Ranger Raptors.
Bronco SAS+30 offset rims with Falken P285/70R17 At4W tires.

Building the 500+ hp Darth Vader of RRs , it can only be stealth black. lol

Besides it should look really kick ass setting next to all the Storm troopers. Lol

Here some of the info on the conversion it will eventually be going through. I am told that’s looking like about 6 months out before they can start on mine.

Overall goal for me is whenever I hit that start button that it will sound like this.

Yes, for stage 1 which is what I am going for.
Now that said I am waiting to hear back on one of the questions I had asked them earlier today.
‘Seems with the Bronco builds they are sourcing and fitting the electronic shifter out of the RRs along with I believe the T-case used in the Bronco conversions is out of a RR. I asked since we’re doing the conversion on a RR and since those items are already there, if that would not constitute some sort of discount. Not a deal breaker either way, just seems like it would make sense to give a little discount on the RR conversions.

That said I may not get a clear answer right away, since I don’t think they have completed any RR conversions yet. I think they only have 3 Bronco‘s completed so far. Not sure how many they are working on at one time. Lots of questions and lots more to learn. But I am 100% committed to putting a v8 powered RR in my garage .

This will be fun...after doing the Predator 5.2 swap (myself) in my Bronco 2dr, my wife is so impressed and So jealous and says "we gotta do the Rrappy next"!!! maybe I can sell her 3.0 to one of the bronco guys

SO ....Im on the hunt for another 5.2 Raptor R engine...last swap only took 3 months, pretty sure I can do it on the ranger in less than a months time, way easier on the Ranger (more room) , E-shifter... and it's a better platform for BIG hp than the 2dr bronco.

Im doing a price comparison with building a FULLY built 3.0 with all the goodies, VS the predator swap.

All the removed parts and components are yours to keep. The RR's like new engine and drivetrain should have some good resale value if they don't give a descent discount for using your RR's drivetrain.
