No, a dealer bulletin came out saying stock orders only. A retail order will not be built or pulled. Must be changed to a stock unit. Priority code 20-80.

I wish my dealer would be a little more transparent with me. I am hopeful they are ordering my Raptor as stock order and just telling me its a retail order because they probably think I don't know any better.

But I guess time will tell. I think a lot of us are in the same boat besides that one guy who had the screen shot of the dealer explaining it to him. Hats off to that dealer. I would absolutely do business with them.

Since the STX doesn’t come with a trailer brake controller (Smart move Ford, pushing people to the XLT ?). What would you feel comfortable towing with the STX model?

My sales guy said I was the first one to submit their Raptor order (which probably doesn't mean anything), but he said he did 2 more after me and the dealership had a total of 5 Raptor orders first day. Pray for me. Haha

There is such a huge inconsistency on dealers taking/submitting orders on the Raptor. Some dealers are green lighting everything, some aren't even accepting builds. My dealer gave me the "You're the first" speech but hasn't done anything while I'm seeing cases like this..... Makin' me itchy.

I agree with your post. I have not seen anyone post a confirmation email from Ford on their Raptor order. I have only seen dealer orders.

Because they could only enter a stock unit, which makes the vehicle theirs, not a retail order for you. They will have to sell you the one stock unit they could order. Unless you are willing to wait until q4 or later when retail allocation can be earned by them.

The priority code does not matter (10-19) unless the dealer has been allotted a tone of Raptors. The code only has a bearing on what order is pulled first for the dealer. In my case there is only one so 19 is just as good as 10



For other Rangers it might make a difference because of the number the dealer can order.

I hope at some point they stop taking orders, as theres no way any dealership is getting this many Raptor allocations even for job 2.
