My XLT retail order was placed Saturday AM, but still no email from Ford. Anyone else in the same boat?
I placed my XLT order Friday afternoon. The next morning my salesman asked if I got Ford's email and I hadn't. He forwarded an Order Confirmation email that he received (from Ford) and it said, "[My first name], we've got your order." I still have not received a message directly from Ford, but I'm confident they have my order.

I placed my XLT order Friday afternoon. The next morning my salesman asked if I got Ford's email and I hadn't. He forwarded an Order Confirmation email that he received (from Ford) and it said, "[My first name], we've got your order." I still have not received a message directly from Ford, but I'm confident they have my order.
yep, same thing for my raptor. I didn't get one but dealer did

And I got my email right around 9 am finally
All i can tell you is I am looking at a bulletin that went out to all dealerships on May 25th illustrating how to order a 2024 Ranger Raptor. It clearly states it must be stock and that it must have a priority code of between 20-80 and that they get only one stock order this round. It also says in BOLD type, that no retails orders may be submitted, as they will not be built at this time. I cannot post it on here as those messages are proprietary and it could get my dealer in trouble as well as this site to have it posted on it.

I don't know what to tell you with your dealer saying he can't find it.

At this point I just say good luck to everyone, as this appears to be a huge mess and there are going to be a lot of people pissed off when they don't get their trucks!

Hey, I've tried my best to explain what I know and it's been poorly received by some and mocked by others. I am done trying to help and wish everyone the best with trying to get a Ranger Raptor ordered and purchased. It appears a lot of dealers are misinformed, and others are simply misinforming their clients. But.. it is what it is.

Will be nice one day when there is a more direct way of ordering a vehicle and eliminating all of this ridiculousness, insanity, and inconsistent aid from dealerships.

You got one thing right, this whole thing is a mess. I especially think its dumb that Ford wants this to be top secret proprietary information. What do they think will happen when all these people put orders in for Raptors, and see only a handful of Raptors get delivered. Probably would be better if they were just up front about it to the public so people know why they aren't getting their trucks.

I appreciate your info. Mine went in as retail code 19 and I don't expect to get it till next year. Time well tell

My story is the same. Just texted the GM and he sent me an email I never got. Reconfirmed my email with him too. Ford may not be sending emails

Agreed, but I think they were trying to avoid another bronco fiasco as they don't know when these raptors are going to be built and delivered, and don't want to make any promises. I think they were trying to avoid any form of price protection, as their costs are bound to go up before all of these are produced, and were trying to avoid making any false promises/assumptions on when they'd be built.

As stock units, they'd be not price protected and no guarantees as to when they would be received are made. I think this is why Ford told them there would be only 1 per dealer for now, and that it had to be stock unit, and not to put in any more orders for Raptors. HOWEVER, this message did not seem to be received by all dealers, somehow, or they are choosing to ignore it. Which has taken good intentions and throw them out the window, as now we have a mess.

Probably been better not to offer any orders until production was up fully and they could take both stock and retail orders. But I am sure these first run trucks were going to serve as a test run for quality, production processes, etc and again why Ford wanted them to be stock, not retail units. Guess we will see.

Interesting, GM just said my order was July allocation for august production. I’m going to pretend to know what that means

Not saying my dealer is right or wrong (who knows at this point), but wanted to add to all the different answers we all seem to be getting. My dealerships Sales Manger (who orders) said that I was first in line for a RR and he ordered it as retail (he said he saw no bulletins about must be stock .. doesn't mean such a memo does exist). That said, he said he had to wait for his allocation (which was 1 unit only when he got it) to order and my order number is now tied to that allocation and he will not order for anyone else unless he gets a notice he has more Raptors allocated to him. Still not a lot of confidence for 2023.. LOL !

I phoned my dealer this morning & initially spoke with my salesman about the bulletin & he put me in contact with the general manager of whom his name is on my order preview. He said that he searched through over a month of correspondence from ford & found no such bulletin, he also said that he attempted to submit my order as stock but the system would not accept it so my order has been submitted as retail with a priority 10. I have yet to receive a email from ford though.
