What did you do to your Ranger Raptor Today?

Installed the Ford branded Truxedo XLP tonneau cover.

I've had hard folding covers on my last couple of trucks and decided to try a soft cover this time.

Install was really easy, about 40 minutes all together.

Fits well and appears to be sealed up well. It's very low profile. There is a Ford logo embossed in the cover, but it's not real visible.

I didn't expect to be buying a Raptor, so my timing was odd. I was only home for a few days in the 2 weeks after buying the truck and didn't want a big box sitting around outside while I was gone. When Ford did the 25% off code it made the price very competitive and they have free shipping if you pick up at a dealer.

A brief rant:
Ford doesn't update the status of your order until it arrives at the dealer. It looked like they never did anything to fulfill my order. After a week I called to cancel, figuring I could get it quicker elsewhere. It's not possible to cancel. You can change or cancel for 1 hour after placing the order, that's it. The dealer can do a return, but the tonneau and bed mat I ordered are marked as not returnable. The shipper they use doesn't provide tracking, so Ford doesn't know where the parts are. Welcome to 1980.

I really like your grill lights better then mine, with mine it was all I could find at the time but I sort of hate the weak light output, and hate that I can see all the little led dots.

Can we get some more picks of your grill lights different angles and maybe a link to the exact ones you bought?

I’m curious, on your install, did you keep the plugs or ditch them? I didn’t want to drill big holes, so I clipped off all of the plugs and spliced the wires. I also knotted the wires on the back side of the grill to prevent lights from popping out if glue strip failed.

I cut the back of plugs off and drilled a 1/4" hole. I followed the instructions on f150 leds website and wire tapped to the violet and white wire on passenger side head light and grounded to a bolt where the horn is.

Where did you wire these into? I’m terrible at electric wiring. Do they stay on with the DRL‘s?

I am wired into Aux 1 and I leave my switch on all the time.
It's not a hot switch, meaning once the ignition is turned off my grill lights go off as well.
