Would you trade in your Ranger if they released the Everest in the US?

I keep seeing people say the Everest will never come to the US because of the Bronco and Explorer. I think that's a garbage reason, but an unfortunately true assessment. Still, I would love one because it checks all the boxes for a capable overlanding rig that's also nice enough for city use. I'd be hard pressed not to trade in my Raptor for an Everest Tremor. Anyone else here feel the same way about the Everest? Would you consider or buy one if available in the US?

Now that I have it I wouldn't trade my RRaptor in for an Everest, but if Ford had released an Everest Tremor alongside the new Ranger I probably would have bought that instead.

An SUV would work better for my needs, but nothing on the market really made sense. I would have bought the new Land Cruiser if they weren't stupid expensive. I have zero interest in the Explorer. Previous 4Runner doesn't have the towing capacity I need, if the new 4Runner had been announced I might have waited for that.

When I was first looking for my next vehicle and saw the Everest I thought it sounded like a good fit.
Since I have a ranger already I wouldn't change.
It's handy to have a truck bed. Although I do wish the bed was longer after picking up my first load a 3/4 minus gravel. Never even thought about that being an issue. I mean it still works, but gravel can fall out the edges so def use a tarp to try and protect the paint a little on the bed.

A Everest would not fit my needs the way the Ranger does
So no I would still buy the Ranger.

The Everest is a 3 row, BoF (same platform as the Ranger and Bronco) and has the creature comforts and tech as the Ranger. I would assume it might get the attention of consumers shopping a Ranger and Explorer. Even more importantly, stealing people from other brands namely the Toyota 4Runner (which is an all new design for ‘25).

Speaking of the Everest… Ford just unveiled the Tremor version for Australia. Such a sweet looking SUV and would likely be a dream on the road and off-road!!!

I feel same as above. I would have even got a tremor ranger even if that was available at launch (or even a lariat if it had 4A differential).

The only way i'd change at this point is if any new tremor also happened to be a hybrid that got significantly better mpg.

I feel exactly the same way about wanting a Tremor and a hybrid option. I also share PawnX‘s wish for a longer bed too. A Ranger SuperCrew Tremor hybrid with a 6’ bed would check every box for me. If I was look for a SUV, that Everest Tremor would be my pick. Unfortunately Ford has nothing for me in the US except for compromises. 2025 models? One can hope, or I’ll take my $$$ elsewhere.

It looks sweet but they neutered it at 247hp. That’s like EU numbers.

If you have a bed full of gravel you're probably WAY over payload.

I was thinking that. If you're getting that much rock, you're almost better having a trailer or getting it delivered.

2026 Tremor Lariat or Platinum trim would make me think trading or selling my 2024 Lariat.
Especially with ventilated seats and sun roof.

I would not get the Everest over my Ranger, but if I get one before the Explorer.
