Interested to see some options. The one kit on here looks great but I don't think I'll spend $200 on it. I got a box of various size body plugs on amazon and plugged quite a few holes in the bed. I do think if you really want to do it right, you need to take off the plastic cover on the top of the bed and do some sealing because the "stake" pocket covers aren't very water proof.

Crazy that Ford doesn't think people would like to keep things in the bed dry and free of dust!

I did not install the bottom seal of the tailgate as the bed rug keeps water and dust out.
This has worked well for me.

Gary,

Interesting. That is exactly what I was looking for since I also have factory spayin liner, retrax mx and a mat (2024 Ranger Lariat 1 week old). The KEKO seal instruction diagram does not indicate that the side seals are that wide. From your pictures it looks like an extension flap from the main seal forming more of an L shaped seal? Excellent - I like it. By the way - you do excellent work!
Question - is the seal comming down from under the Tonneau cover part of the seal kit or part of the tonneau cover.

Thank you.
I was very impressed with the keko seal.
The edge seal I added on the retrax tonneau was from Amazon. All in all I think I have the bed pretty much dust and water free.
The hardest part was filling all the holes with rubber hole fillers.

My Lariat is currently currently at the detail shop getting ceramic exterior and a protective interior - so i cant see if ihave the holes in the bed you are talking about. Regarding the edge seals, do to you happen to have the Amazon URL for them?

So do the sides stick with some sort of 3M tape ? You said you didnt put the bottom piece in because of your carpet. Would that piece have snapped into the line of holes in the botton of the bed like in the picture of my oroginal post ?

Correct. I did not need the bottom piece because the bed rug handles that. The piece on the bottom is a rubber gasket that has tape.
The sides consist of a metal bracket on each side and rubber seals with tape. Very simple to install

This is what I used on the retrax cover to extend the seal. So far so good.

There are all kinds of holes in the bed that let in dust. See pic as an example.
I tried to plug every one of them. Very tedious work but it seems to have paid off.

Gary,
If you dont mind, I cant find oval plugs - what/where is your source. Also, how did you seal the openings in the upper front of the bed. Unfortunatelly Retax is already installed.

Thanx!

Gary,
Making progress plugging holes but I am stumped on the oval plugs. They are about 5/8x7/8. Cant find oval plugs anywhere. Could you please reveal your source. It would be greatly appreciated.

I just used a slightly larger round plug. They formed an oval when installed.

Thank you very much! and last - where did you find that unique shaped weatherstrip to seal the top sides of the tail gate? I'ts a very short length of rubber with a round hump in the middle?

Btw, towards the front of the bed is two large holes. One in each corner. I shoved a tennis ball in each one of them. Redneck engineering!

if you’re talking about the two rounded corner pieces at the corners I used the same Amazon edge strip to add about 1/16” in length.
Now, with all that said, my bed is not waterproof but pretty much dust proof.
the stake pockets still leak because my tonneau party covers them and I don’t want to remove the cover to seal them. I think I’m going to try to use a caulk gun of silicone from underneath and see if that works.

Those rubber grommets were a chore. I have a little arthritis in my hands so when I was done I needed 3+3 therapy. 3 Advil + 3 fingers of scotch!!
