There are several I can't figure out where to order the tune from
I ordered mine through Lethal performance. They were great to deal with.
I can understand that Ford Performance would have access to Ford's proprietary code, but how are 3rd party companies like Livernois getting through the PCM encryption to work on a tune?

I'm on the fence with Lethal... I ordered by noon the day Ford Performance announced the release via a custom quote before it was on their site, and mine didn't ship out in their first batch. I have no ETA and was just told "might be a few weeks or more before they receive more units". They had no problem taking my money though.

Ordering the day it was announced by FP, you would think they would have procured enough so there was enough units to ship mine. Then, they are holding the rest of the items I ordered so they can ship it all together which is annoying too since everything was paid for in advance. This will likely be the one and only time I buy anything from them.

That sucks and I am sorry to hear. Can’t say I blame you. I’ve been in your situation and it’s very frustrating. I wouldn’t have suggested them had I known others had issues.

FYI, I ordered mine from lethal performance on September 1 and today when I was driving home, I was thinking I was going to cancel the order because I didn’t receive any tracking or shipping info but when I pulled into my driveway, the box from lethal was sitting on my porch. They may have already sent it to you.

FYI, I ordered mine from lethal performance on September 1 and today when I was driving home, I was thinking I was going to cancel the order because I didn’t receive any tracking or shipping info but when I pulled into my driveway, the box from lethal was sitting on my porch. They may have already sent it to you.
That would be great, but not holding my breath. I reached out to their CS Friday morning and the rep said it would be at least a few weeks before they may get more.

I’m even more frustrated knowing they shipped an order from 9/1 when I ordered by noon on 8/29, and the reasoning for the delay was there were “older orders than mine”.

They only managed to get 35 units in the first run. Weren't you the guy who ordered before me? I don't know if lethal didn't put you in the system correctly when you ordered it, but I was the first from them at 11:38AM. Wondering if your sales guy didn't actually push the order correctly.

“We are waiting on another batch of these to come in from FRPP, as we had a lot of older orders before yours that shipped first.
We are expecting that batch to come within the next few weeks. Once in stock, your order will be shipped and tracking will be emailed to you

I can be patient. I just don’t like how they are holding other items they told me are in stock now after clearly shipping orders out of the ProCal that were confirmed after mine. At least admit the error and ship what you have in stock that I’ve paid for which was my last message to them after they closed my support request.

Just order from Blue Oval Industries. Same price as Lethal and I had a tracking # within 1 business day of placing my order.
Lots of people on here have had the same issues you’ve had with Lethal.

My order was placed early morning 7/30 (via the website). My order shipped on 9/10. I had called because I was going to be out of town a few days later. I was told they were waiting on a batch, and it would be a week or two before it shipped. It then shipped the next day. Seems like they struggle with fulfillment.

Got my shipment from Lethal yesterday, and there's a little confusion on how to register the warranty. If you go to the M-9603-REB30 listing on Ford Performance, and follow the warranty links, it eventually takes you to a document (from 2021) that states:

This Limited Warranty requires that parts must be purchased from an authorized Ford Performance Distributor and installed by an authorized Ford or Lincoln Dealer, Shelby American, Inc., or an automotive service technician certified by the Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or endorsed by the Red Seal Program (RSE). Proof of purchase is required for submission of warranty claims. Registration for this warranty must be submitted through the Ford Performance Call Center at (800) 367-3788 or [email protected] with the vehicle identification number (VIN), part installation repair order and date, Ford Performance part number, and owner contact information.
So, since this document is three years old, I got on the Ford Performance Chat to verify those instructions were still valid. Here is the transcript of the chat:
