Procal 4 Updates?

Any new info on Procal updates? Like install prices for ASE shops or Ford dealers. Impressions of the power/torque. Also, what is needed on the receipt for the install at a ASE shop? I think i read it needs the name and ASE certification number of the mechanic who installed it.

Since that is difficult:

• Dealers are charging around 2-3 for the install. Generally 1 hour of labor. Some of had reports of more or less.
• Tune is good, trucks is fast, shifts are better, gas mileage is maybe better, does not attract desired matting partners any more then it already has.
• Shop sends a picture to Ford to register with details you already mentioned.

I was thinking the same thing but didn't post it. lol The things people fret over or waste their time doing is insane. It's not like this forum is bustling with activity, so if there's a few new posts to read, yay!

I made a certificate in Publisher put my VIN, the tune part #, name of shop,name of mech, and date. Final step/actual installation took about 10-15 minutes. He did it for $50 cash

Finally got my Procal installed. I called Fivestarford in Dallas and they wanted $300 and would take 2 days to install. I thought they would know how to since they are a Hennesey Roush dealer. I called a local shop and they took about 10 minutes and $83 since I had already prepped the tool. If anyone is having trouble finding a shop to do it in the DFW area let me know.

The tune is worth the price. Mine will spin the tires from a roll now.

@Crapblaster Which shop did you use? I just tried and failed at Grapevine Ford. They thing they need my laptop! Also sent a DM if you would rather respond that way.

Definite gains as I zipped thru the lot, $72.00 at my dealer, they had the truck for 1/2 day. They put me in a 25 f150 for the morning too.

In addition to the power increase, did you notice a change with transmission shift quality?

All seems to be smother, gas mileage remained the same if you keep your foot out of it, lol
