(Translation in english:
I have the same ones. Just not this camera with the “+”.

For you, “Cross-Traffic Alert View”—that’s what doesn’t work for me. You turned it off… Does it work for you?)
it's not my car, it's a photo from mobile.de, it doesn't work for me.

Ah, I see, I thought so because the text on Sync 4 was in German.

@aatuti What is a TCU?

I don’t quite understand what settings you’re configuring there. For me, Wi-Fi is standard in the settings. You can also see the mobile connection from the car modem, right?
Telematics Control Unit - this has the cellular and wifi modules. Seems the variant we were supplied has this unit fitted, but disabled through software. So trying to work out how to get it re-enabled so I can access wifi and hopefully even get the cellular working on roaming.

Next question: The Bronco has a tire camera. A friend of mine suddenly had the icon appear on his Wildtrak after making some changes in FORScan (he doesn’t remember exactly what he changed). However, when he presses the button, nothing happens. Does anyone know how to activate the camera (it’s taken from the ultra-wide-angle lenses on the mirrors)?

this is how it looks with the Bronco when the function is on, no one knows how to activate it with the Raptor

I bet it will fix your problem, I turned mine off and won't be turning it back on as I value the locking functionality over the welcome lighting.
Thanks for posting this. The touch locking was awful and I had never placed the approach lighting as having been the cause. Turned it back off and now works great again. I would be more annoyed if "approach lighting" also did "approach unlock" but since all it does it turn on the lights, I don't think I'll miss having it...

On that note, I'm not sure if it's just in my head or not, but the latest software update may have improved my delayed touch lock. I hadn't reverted the approach lighting yet and ever since the update earlier this week, it seems to work on first try right away every time. I'll keep an eye on it. though.

What was the update about?

Hey fellas, thanks for all the great information here. I'm about to get started on this to enable rock crawling mode, adjust tires once installed, and number of turn signals. In reading through the spreadsheet, I don't see a way to disable the "keep your hands on the wheel" lane keeping nanny. Did I just miss that, or is it not able to be turned off in FORscan?

Well, I took the plunge with FORscan. The first thing was to figure out how to run Windows software. I've been a Mac guy in my personal life for years and wasn't keen on the idea of buying a Windows computer at this late date. So I worked my way through the process of setting up a Windows environment on my Mac powerbook.

You can pay a lot of money for commercial software that will do the job. But that didn't seem to make any sense in my situation since I only wanted to run Windows for this one application. So I decided to use Bootcamp, the free thing that comes bundled with the Mac operating system that lets you create a partition where you can set up a Windows environment. It took some noodling, but I figured it out and got Windows 10 up and running on my Macbook Pro.

Next up was securing the hardware required to hook up my laptop to the truck. I took the path of least resistance and bought the adaptor that the FORscan people recommended. I'm sure there are other choices that would work, but the OBDLink EX FORScan OBD Adapter seemed like it would do the job with a minimum of issues and the price was right.

The FORscan software was an easy download and the free two-month license that is perpetually renewable was a pretty sweet deal. The minute I fired up FORscan with the adaptor plugged in, it downloaded and installed the necessary drivers without any effort on my part.

Then came the moment of truth. I plugged the adaptor into the OBD port on the truck., turned on the ignition and told FORscan to do a scan, and it was off to the races.

I haven't done much yet. My first trial run was turning on the Welcome Lights feature that lets the truck detect the fob in my pocket when I walk up to the vehicle and turns on the outside lights that illuminate the area around the truck. Worked like a charm. I'll be looking at the other verified features that can be activated and turning on the ones that make sense for me.

I used to work on my cars back in the day when they weren't giant computers. It feels good to be getting access to and control over them again now that car maintenance has gone digital.

I've got good news for everyone, I have finally figured out anti-glare high beams for 6G USDM Ranger Raptors. Remember, all changes are at your own risk, however I just got out of the truck after testing this for a half an hour. It's the real deal.

Coding is as follows:
IPMA706-01-01xxxx, xxx9, xxxx
SCCM724-04-01xxx3, xxxx
IPC720-10-01xxxx, xxx2, xxxx
HCM734-01-02x2xx, xxxx, xxxx
HCM734-01-04xxA0, D1xx
APIM7D0-09-01x1xx, xxxx, xxxx
APIM7D0-09-03xx8x, xxxx, xxxx

Remember, do NOT replace any data with an "x", only the actual digits shown. Make backups of your vehicle as always.

This was done by comparing European and Australian asbuilt dumps to the asbuilt of my truck and I used the old F150 guide for direction.

Happy New Year everybody!

(please update the spreadsheet once you test it @craigc)
