Aliexpress bed step

Pulled the trigger back in November on a set of left and right box steps from Aliexpress. Cost was about $300 total with shipping. Quality seems decent, but I'll definitely be spraying the brackets with a rust preventative. Also didn't include any hardware. I'll post an update after I install next week for anyone interested.

$159 & $197 shipping for a pair is still pretty good for a pair. I have a friend who runs a body shop, I am going to see if he can source them.

From Ford, your looking at 600/side. That's with your standard discount. Having done one side, I can say those look exactly like what i installed, so maybe this is going out the back door. If i had not already done one side, it would be a no brainer. Those parts look fine.

I’ve never bought from them. I’ve looked at their listping 3 times since last evening. Shipping was $179, $197 and now $249. WTF?

I thought maybe it would be more reasonable if we could organize a “group buy” to consolidate shipping costs. No, the shipping on 10 units is about 6 grand.

Decided to pull the trigger today, I ordered the other set that has the clips. More expensive, $400 instead of $359, but the expected delivery date is mid January instead of mid February.
We will see.

I had checked with him in the beginning of the week. He said it was too cold in his garage. Mine are scheduled for delivery Monday. Hope to get them done next week.
