Fun little video from Ford. Nice to see the Ranger take the win. Anyone know what size wheels/tires are on the Ranger? Clearly not the factory setup. Looks like they might have swapped on a Bronco Sasquatch wheel/tire set for the shoot.

Saw that. Nice to see James get a nice little gig like that.

The Ranger definitely had an aggressive BOV. My Turbosmart never makes that much noise. But I also haven't ran it that hard in those conditions.

Can’t see the rims on my phone now but when I watched last night I noticed the RR rims were fitted with bead locks. If I had to guess those tires would be 315/70r17 same as the Bronco Sasquatch.
The RR also had a chase rack that looked similar the unit from SDHQ. Plus the Blowoff valve. Someone was having fun building that RR. I would not be surprised if the Ranger had the Ford Performance tune.
I saw there was a R22 Label on the Bronco raptor. Maybe the Raptor R and Bronco Raptor were from the Raptor Assault in Utah. When Hailey Deegan smoked that rock. Rest in pieces rims! lol!

Yeah I never noticed my turbosmart BOV make so much noise until I took it to the sand dunes! I wouldn't say it was louder than when on the street, but it was just constantly venting - sounded bloody great! Even moderate beach driving it's a lot more 'active' than on the street.

Did they use one of the Ranger Raptors from the Ranger Raptor Assault in Utah?

The front bumper bar with what looks like a led light bar, looks to be the same as the Assault trucks. The Assault trucks have a headache rack in the bed and one spare, this one has two spares without the headache rack.

It definitely has BFG K03’s on it and for spares, but I can’t tell what size.

I guess they could have the truck over there as a press vehicle for the race, and wanted a more serious setup in the bed?

I'm thinking the extra weight in the bed of the Ranger didn't help it in this sort of "contest." Sure looked like fun either way though, I just would have wanted longer courses for more play time.

Opposite theory moving weight into the back of a front heavy rig can help traction and balance. It’s common in racing to use spares and gear as ballast.

I own all three so this was a fun video to watch. They all have their pros and areas they excel in. I daily drive the RR and I gotta say I love driving it as much as the R. Both are different and fun in their own way. You can't beat the value of the RR being sub $60K.

The F150 has a problem of being too damn big for a lot of trails.
