Stock Bumper Winch Plate

I have not seen this while looking through the forums and I figured that I would post it. I know that the front axle load is near its limit so I am wondering if this would be an option? It says it keeps the stock bumper and I can reasonably assume some modifications would be needed.

the difference from the one in the link is that it has a mount for the radar on the front.

The European versions like the one I bought and the one you are looking at above are made for the euro version Raptor and have some differences in bolt placement and fit. You will likely have to get some welding done.

I have no issues with weight on the front.

Sahara4x4 lists them as Ranger Raptor specific...... I'm guessing that they are model specific so you may want to reach out to them directly.

How do you freespool your winch? Doesn't look like you can access the winch and engage the freespool?

Looks like a very clean install. I would love to have a winch on mine but everything that blocks airflow gives me pause. It doesn't appear that yours blocks much, seems to sit down where there was just skid plate previously.

As far as modifications, to be honest I don’t know exactly. I had it done in a shop. There were some changes to the winch plate due to it being from Europe and they had to cut the front bumper. There was no impact to the cameras or the radar. Both work fine.

as far as air intake, the AAC radar is already taking up a portion of the space and the winch sits lower, in the bumper. I can’t say for sure but it doesn’t appear that there would be too much impact on the intercooler.

My main concern was having a winch while not putting too much additional weight up front with a full replacement winch ready bumper. This was the best option I found. Total additional weight added upfront was 115.8 lbs (winch 90lbs, plate 25lbs) less whatever they cut away (probably no more than 5 lbs).

The skid plate wasn’t modified.

The clutch is the silver handle on the right of the picture. No problem accessing it.

I think i found the same winch on Amazon and it claims in the specs the weight is 25lbs.

Thank you! The hidden winch mounts for the Broncos you had to cut a coolant hose to tge oil cooler on the 2.7 engines and cut some brackets off the frame so I stayed away from them.
