Oh, just Raptor? That doesn’t make a lot of sense!
Ford was worried the 33" spare for the Raptor would interfere with the plug in the location the other Rangers have it. Maybe there's a minimum spacing regulation or requirement, who knows.

That was my thought exactly. They just weren't comfortable with the smaller clearance. They have to think globally with the cost of warranty repairs, spares moving around under the truck, etc.

Ouch! Gotta love UPS! That is the actual rate they returned for your address. We don't up charge the rates. However, if you'll message me your specific address, I'll shop it with our other carriers and should be able to get you a better rate with DHL. Then, I can just email you an invoice with that rate applied. Sorry for the issue, but thank you for replying here so I have an opportunity to correct it.

Can confirm that this fits with a 35” tire.(315/70R17 BFG KO2) No need to put any kind of bend in the wiring harness and I even had enough room to get my hand up in there and put the nut on the bolt. No need to drop the tire either.
As others have said, this is where Ford should have put this in the first place, can’t understand the reasoning behind mounting under the bumper.
Also, black hardware is the way, thanks for listening AAL!

Probably within a couple of weeks. We're working on them now, with some of them already finished. I'm just laser focused on the shop producing to meet current demand without pumping in a lot more demand right now.

Glad the photos helped. I'm going to try to stay pretty in-tune with the forum here. I'm just as in love with this truck as everyone here is, so it's like cool new toy for us as well.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Here's some of the stuff we're working on today.

Really looking forward to the bed slide you're working on. Any chance this will be ready by August? I have a trip end of august that this would be super handy for. Already ordered your cross bars, but will be using that along with a toneau cover to keep water out of the bed so the slide becomes more and more necessary!

Would you please take several pics from underneath showing the clearances all around the circumference of a 35” tire, and start a new thread about this? I don’t recall seeing this posted before.

Sorry Mr. Davies, you will have to just take my word for it.
Maybe someone with more time in their hands can help you with that request.
To be clear, I own a 2024 Ranger Raptor. I have 5 matching wheels and tires and I do a 5 tire rotation every 5k miles.

I have had some issues with the offset on the aftermarket wheels we chose. So, I don't have the 35's on the spare wheel yet. As soon as I do, I'll get those photos added that you requested.

I have the 35's mounted to the stock wheels right now and really like the look. I did have to put a 5mm spacer on the front to keep the tires off of the spindles. Not a huge fan of that, so still wheel shopping.

Resurrecting an old thread...

I got my relocation bracket installed today, but no matter how hard I try I cannot get the clips through the opening. I measured and the AAL bracket is 5.5mm (more than 3/16") narrower than the stock bracket. I'm assuming they didn't change the part for 2026, but I'll be damned... I feel like I'm going to break something.

I filed the bracket right where the clips go. That made the opening a little larger and it fit.

Has anyone tried relocating it without the bracket? Just let the bumper plastic hold it. Would it be too loose without the bracket?
