Just a short write up on how to remove the front lower valance panel for repainting on the 2025 Ranger. First if you have 4X4 remove the front skid plate 4-15mm bolts, (you do not have to completely remove the rear two they have slots) If you have the lower wind valance remove that as it will need to be off for painting anyway. There are 8 screws to remove the panel. Two Torx 25 on each side up in the bumper cavity see pic 1, and the four 8mm head screws for the rubber front tow hook pocket (pic 2). Then it's just 16 tabs,(Pic 3), that you can reach from underneath and or I was able to reach some by hand, a plastic flat scrapper for others. Just apply gentle pull from one side, down pressure on clip/stays as you pop, push to release the retainer clips from one side toward the other, just don't try to start in the middle for taking off or installing. Mine seemed to want to release better from drivers side to passenger side and install better from passenger to drivers side. Pretty simple task. I just used a green scrubber, clean good, make sure it's dry and dust free, paint reinstall. The paint on mine is the body paint to closely match my exterior. Change color as desired! Bingo!

Great info. Im planning to do mine - probably either either Raptor spray or Luna One.

How long have you been running it? I'm curious what the longevity is going to be.
Put on a minimum of 4 coats and it will last years. I've painted out exhaust tips on my jeep that were still good after 4 years and 75K miles. Doesn't chip like normal coatings.

There’s a bunch of overlapping pieces in there. I would think that just taping and spraying wouldn’t look right and there could be unsprayed areas visible at those edges, but I guess yours looks good in the pics.

Painted this bumper section last march and is still pristine.

Plastidip easily separates at a feature line or tight gap so masking only needs to be close and not exact.
This is why it's simple to black out badges and emblems with Plastidip.

I painted the bumper trim 16 months ago on my RR, Bolder Grey to match the bumper. Surprisingly I haven't found any paint chips yet.

Very nice. I posted a full write-up when I did mine, but the post was lost when the site crashed last week. I didn't want to paint or wrap my gray one, so I bought a new one and sold my gray one for $300.

FYI this is the part # if you want to buy a new one. Comes as matte black texture and you paint-to-match. I left mine as the matte black texture as shown in my after photo.
- Valance part # N1WZ-17D957-AHPTM. (MSRP $401 / Actual Price $275)

In case you wanted to paint the valance, this is the paint color that will best match your bumpers on an XLT.
- Code J7 - Gray Metallic - US
