Ranger (and Yakima) to the Rescue!

Since there is no Ranger longbed available, I’ll likely go for the same Yakima bed rack to carry kayaks and paddle boards.

That was my main reason for getting the racks (for kayaks), but nice to know they come in handy for other things as well.

The rack utilizes the T track system. My rollup tonneau cover has the T track already installed. You can get an adapter for the Yakima racks that will fit perfectly in the tracks.

Yes, very easy. Biggest problem is finding a place to put it while you’re not using it.

It will fit. I don’t know why the Yakima website shows it as not compatible. Probably because there are so many different kinds of tonneau covers out there on the market. I have a 2024 Ranger lariat 4 x 4.

Yes, that is the kit that I have. Works perfectly!

Just unfortunate the load capacity drops to 180#s off road using the t slots.

The roof channel is better for strength then a flat roof.
I dented my 4G roof with gutter style removal roof racks.
To avoid damage of taking them on and off, I will go with the bolt on full roof line rack.
I see Thule does put a large base mounting surface on some of the systems.

Anybody have a rack with the factory trifold tonneau? Looking for a rack that can work with that.
