My K03’s are approaching 40k miles and I am starting to consider the next set.

I dont plan to buy K03’s again and I am curious what others are leaning towards as a replacement?

Im about to replace my Ko3s at 10k for Mickey Thompson Baja Boss, had them on my bronco and they were great all around, especially in the winter.
Cant wait to throw the ko3s to the curb.

I went with Toyo AT3s.

FWIW, I *really* liked the KO3s, they just didn't offer 35s (315/70R17, actual 34.4") at the time I switched.

I am also looking forward to it. For a tire as hyped as the K03 is/was I dont find it anything special. Thats not to say its not an improvement over the K02 which by all accounts it is. Its a louder tire than I expected and that started showing at 20k miles.

The Mikey Thompson, Nitto Range Grappler, Toyo AT3's and Falken AT/3 or AT/4's are what I am considering.

I looked at these but they only have a speed rating of 99 mph while the KO3 is rated at 112mph which is making me hesitate.

I'm in the same boat. My K03s started getting really loud at 18K miles.

Depends on the size and load rating
Im sticking with the same size and dont need anything heavier as far as load rating so the ones im looking at are T speed rated so even more than the ko3

If you bump up to a 35" you could get a D load rating and Q speed rated

I did the Falken Wildpeak AT4W in a 35x11.5x17 the week I got the truck (not a k/o fan). Great all season tire.

I've been looking at these. What wheel are you running, and do you have any lift? Have you noticed any rubbing at full compression?

Running the stock wheel but with a 1.25" wheel spacer so I basically have a +25 offset now. That being said I'm 99% sure I ran them before the spacers and it was fine. Have a 2" level. Removed crash bars. I did trim the front mudflap a tab but nothing crazy. Zero rub and that includes off roading not just street driving.

I didn't mind the KO3s. The Baja Bosses have been great too and they look much better.

These look good. Hows the road noise compared to the K03's?
