I left a 3 star detailed review that amazingly hasn't been posted to there site. Quality of the lights and brightness are good, however the 7/16" drill bit they require to push the connector thru tore up my grill and the light clearly wont cover them, no matter what angle I held the drill.

POOR design for a tight space. They should've either used a smaller connection or bare wires going thru. Now I will have to use some spot putty to fix it. These pics are after I used various paints mixed to camouflage the missing paint and gouged plastic.

Curious, I have not installed mine yet, but I did plan to follow their recommended masking of the holes seen in their install video. Did you use the masking tape and still get that sort of damage?

It looked like it worked in the video.
These are screen caps from their install video.

A little tip is that upper piece separates from the grill and you could drill from the rear

Yes sir, masked it, made sure the bit was the correct size. If I had it all to do over again I would remove the grill and drill the holes from the back side, that would solve all the risks of scratching the front of the grill. I even used a 1/4" bit to drill a pilot hole in the last 2 holes, the 7/16 bit still damaged it, just not quite as bad.

Them saying that you might scratch the grill but not to worry, the light would cover it. Not the case since the scratches are in front of the light. The plastic in the back of the slots in the grill is so thin it was cutting the top and bottom behind the lights. The video also says you can reach in and push the light up and hold for a bit to get the adhesive to stick. That's impossible to do, the lights take up all of the space. I couldn't even get a thin putty knife under it. He must've either been using a different light or a different grill, you can see by my photos that there is no room to get a finger under it.

I drilled smaller pilot holes first because the drill bit required can barely pass through opening that the marker lights sits in. The pilot holes make it a bit easier for the 7/16 bit to pass through the grill without marring it. If they made the connections slightly smaller or bare wires that could be attached to a separate harness it would make a lot more sense. The lights do look great though and seem to be of high quality.

You could cut off the connectors and drill much smaller holes in the grill to run just the wire though the grill and then splice the wire back into the connector or, what I typically do is, cut off all connectors and just splice where I need to using waterproof shrink connectors. This eliminates drilling big holes and having a bunch of left over wire to bundle and hide. I think it’s much easier than drilling and managing more than double the wire needed.

Then you run into elimination of the waterproof aspect

Damn, was going to order these but they don't color match

The search for the perfect grill lights continues.

I even have 12V DRL pre wired to the grill...just waiting the correct product.

I want water proof, flush mount, color matching amber lights in the top 3 slots or 4 X Diamond shape for the top row Mid grill

Waterproof, UV resistant, quality cabling

Almost a grand slam F150 LED's but not quite.

What do you mean by color match?
Amber is Amber right? I am picturing maybe brighter or dimmer, but Amber is Amber?

I followed the recommendation in the install video. It is very tight for the recommended drill bit, but it is doable. Just take your time.
