Hmm dogs... I'm am old one myself. Pressing the off-road button just brings up the screen on the center display, you have to use the touch screen to alter any settings, so unless your pooches have extraordinary reach, you'll be fine. The off-road screen button; now this brings up a concern....I might sound young and hip but we are long in the tooth/and have as is common in the elderly two yippy yap dogs. What happens when cruising down the interstate one of the miniature schnauzers hops onto the center armrest/slips a bit and steps on this button? I hope nothing. I've already found and ordered off ETSU a cover for the 'wheel'.
Thanks again for the information. I love the way you presented it to me=fun and suggestive and not derating at all.
Here's another tip about the off-road button. I use it all to time to aid parking in tight spaces as when you activate it (under around 10 MPH) the front camera and surround view comes on. You can configure the cameras for different views (see the manual) so if its not showing the stuff you want just play with the camera buttons on the screen until you find what you like. The truck remembers your last setting, so once set you can forget.
And thanks for the kind words. There's so much complexity/aggravation/anxiety/conflict in this world, why add to it? If we want to undo some of that, IMO its far better to offer a hand than an insult.
