Factory ground engine bay locations

Does anyone know if these two locations are factory ground locations inside the engine bay? These are on the passenger side.

That is where ARB grounds out the second battery if you install their aux battery kit(have to order from Australia, not available in north America)

I don't know your reason for the grounds but electronically speaking. The best grounds are the path of least resistance. That is the chassis or frame. All grounds are based off that path therectically. Many of today's electronics also incorporate a independent ground/isolated inside the many electrical modules. You can use a meter set to ohms and if you get anything other than all 0's like touching the leads together, find another spot. Also anything painted will need cleaned to bare metal.

and you can add jumper wires from that spot to the frame to help limit resistance. it used to be really common to add grounds to help the electrical systems out but i have not heard that much lately. maybe because vehicles are newer and have more ground points already? i don't know, i just know we used to do that and got cleaner readings from stuff after wards

ground is the - terminal on the battery. All voltages are referenced to that.

modules don't necessarily have a independent ground but they may isolate/filter the power

you don't want the computer that is running your engine to reset because of a voltage drop when you engage the starter
