A $4k option package on the XLT or Lariat would be pretty cool. For those who don’t really need/want a Raptor. But Ford has been moving the Tremor to standalone trim packages for the rest of the lineup so I bet that’s what we see here.

Of course, I also remember when Ford and ARB promised us the ORV package back in 2024 and we all saw how that ended up 🤣🤣🤣

maybe, if the raptor goes up similarly to the bronco raptor cost, then it will easily fit the tremor between?

I am not sure they would go that far, but I could easily see the Raptor taking a bit of jump when the Tremor comes into the mix.

FX4 Lariat come at $56K as it does now.
Tremor Lariat or just Tremor come in at $60K.
Rator move up to closer to the $65K mark.

First couple years of the Global Ranger being built and sold here they skipped the Raptor trim.
The past couple of years they skipped the Tremor and only offered the Raptor instead.

With both for the first time in the US market going in the lineup, I have to think it is going to have some sort of an impact on Raptor's price tag.

About the only way they could possibly avoid would be to drop the content level down to the XL/XLT, and put the keyed ignition in it, the small screens and gauges.
I just don't really see them doing that with the Tremor, but who knows.

I really see it if they do make it into it's own trim level this time, that it would be more Lariat based as far as basic content.

I understood the odd model year production dates for Ranger in 2024 and maybe it made some since with how that played into 2025. I have to think at some point it would get back to the normal production schedules seen on most every other Ford product.
Starting 2026 model Job 1 production in Q1 of 2026 is odd for most any manufacture.
It leaves a lot of new prior year models still in transit into the new year.
I can't see them continuing to do that. I am sure they had there reasons for what happened in 2024 and 2025 production.

But I am sort of thinking 2026 model year might be a short run, in order to get back on track.

I am not really expecting any major design changes with the 2027 Rangers.
I do pray they don't apply Maverick styling to it.
This would really tick me off.
I truly hate the look of the current Maverick.
The prior maverick looked a lot better.

I ran across this 2026/2027 Ranger AI rendering the other day and thought, awe hell no. LOL 🤮

I hate this unfinished look on the nose.

The Current Ranger design looks much better IMO.
I think the current Ranger is hands down the best-looking mid-size truck on the market.
One of the best-looking trucks out their period. I sure hope they don't F it up whenever they do get around to a refresh.
halfway through January and no 2026 yet, this will not be the year that a 2027 comes early

i don’t see anything wrong with a January build for the bronco and Ranger,

god yes, the new maverick front end is not so hot.

good thing we have a Ranger 🤣

I'd suspect fewer RR sales/ordering with a potential price bump to accommodate the Tremor.

I was thinking ford could make the advanced towing package an option on the raptor.

maybe differentiate it a bit and hold the price.

Have you actually priced any of those "other" top trim trucks? 😲

The Raptor is currently an absolute bargain for what you get.
Don't forget that dealers place insane markups on Raptors. I've seen them as high as +$10,000. Good luck trying to buy one AT MSRP, let alone below. I don't call that a bargain. I've never paid, nor will I ever, MSRP for a new vehicle.

Glad I live in Ontario, Canada no dealer mark ups it's against the law and they would be fined big time.

I’ll sell you one at MSRP right now 😎

And the Fiat products pretty much all have huge rebates. Seems they can hardly give those away. For a reason.

Most are not charging markups now.
Seems to be a few out on the west coast still trying.
Maybe it's just hit and miss with what dealers are trying that crap.
None of them around here are marking them up.
Some are below MSRP, my 2025 RR was below MSRP.

Seems very few members on here have had to pay markups least not lately.

Most of us were being hit with some sort of markups back when the RR first came out.
I paid $2k over to get one of the very first 2024's to ship and got my 2024 spring 2024.

Yeah, I can’t imagine anyone paying over sticker these days when it’s been out for two model years. I negotiated a deal over the phone when I bought my ‘25 RR a little over two months ago . Got my truck for more than $2k off. Even with taxes, tag, fees and a dealer lifetime power train warranty, I was still out the door under $60k. I did make it super easy for the dealer though, with no financing or trade in.

Yes! The ORV package that everyone at the auto show, including Ford, was saying was going to be an option or parts available....and then nothing happened.

I know there are a lot of RR fans, but I don't need or want the gas guzzling 3.0 and I'll never enter a Baja race. I have the Lariat 2.7 at work and it is fast, strong, and efficient. But I wish so much it had a front locker, a tad more lift, a winch, and that it was leveled and not raked. The Tremor might check most of these boxes, at a slight discount to the RR, regardless of whether the pricing of the RR changes. I'm sold on the Tremor, personally.

The 2.7 gets good or decent fuel milage but keep in mind once those things are done to the truck. Lift , aggressive tires, etc etc. That’s going tank that fuel milage. It will not shock me if the difference in a 2.7 Tremor and a Raptor is less then a 2mpg differential.

A 2.7 EB in a SAS Bronco is pretty much identical to the Ranger Raptor.

‘My 2 door 2.7L EB Bronco‘s average fuel economy was slightly less then my Ranger Raptors.

The current 2.7L FX4 Lariat 4x4 on the same roads same are same driver etc. compared with the RR only has about 3.5 mpg +/- .5 difference. No doubt in my mind a Slight lift maybe slightly larger tire, and difference will drop within 1-2mpg tops.
