That wouldn't surprise me on price. Basically equivalent to a current Lariat with a nice suspension and wheel/tire upgrade. We shall see.

4A would be cool but I won't be holding my breath. If I had to guess I'd assume the Tremor will be mostly an appearance package built on either an XLT or Lariat package with upgraded suspension, some graphics, accessory switches and not much more. I'd expect with the 2.7 powertrain and obviously only 4x4. TBD though.

The 2.7 gets good or decent fuel milage but keep in mind once those things are done to the truck. Lift , aggressive tires, etc etc. That’s going tank that fuel milage. It will not shock me if the difference in a 2.7 Tremor and a Raptor is less then a 2mpg differential.

A 2.7 EB in a SAS Bronco is pretty much identical to the Ranger Raptor.

‘My 2 door 2.7L EB Bronco‘s average fuel economy was slightly less then my Ranger Raptors.

The current 2.7L FX4 Lariat 4x4 on the same roads same are same driver etc. compared with the RR only has about 3.5 mpg +/- .5 difference. No doubt in my mind a Slight lift maybe slightly larger tire, and difference will drop within 1-2mpg tops.
I dont think anyone is buying the 2.7 and lifting it for the fuel economy.

Very true, I would think so anyway. LOL

I was responding the person that was saying they wanted the Tremor because it would be a lot more fuel efficient then the 3.0L Raptor.

I was just explaining my experiences and why I really would not expect this Tremor to be much if any more efficient than the Raptor. I am betting in the real world they average within 1-2 mpg of each other.

Gotcha. And I think you're probably pretty on the mark with the fuel economy numbers between the 2.

Personally I would consider the Tremor over the Raptor for a few reasons (none of which involve fuel economy). The reliability of the 2.7 over the 3.0 (port/direct injection, fewer cam phaser issues etc), the available box step (minor I know but I just really think it's cool), the (admittedly slightly) lower price and the overall look of the truck. I don't like flashy trucks and the Raptor is a little more over the top. We will see what the final build looks like though.

My 2.7 at work regularly gets 20mpg long term average, and I live in the mountains and put 265/70/R17 BFG KO3s on it. I wouldn't put any larger even on a slightly lifted Tremor. I hear RRs regularly get 16, so there's a bit of a difference. To me anyways.

15-17 is norm for most RRs on stock tires.
18-21 seems to be the normal range on the 2.7s On stock tires.

With the 3 2.7s Lariats all 100% stock, stock tires etc.
We are getting 18-20, depending on conditions.

On the same day same destination (3 hour interstate trip)we had 2 Lariats and 1 RR , we saw 16.5 out of the RR , 19 out of one of the Lariats and 20 out if the other. Speed was likely part of variation we saw . Our speed limits are 75 to 80 mph . I tend to run 5 -8 over I am not sure what the other two were running in the Lariats.

Lifted with larger ties I sure would tend to expect some sort of milage penalty.

Well, that whole video was a bit of a letdown. I am pretty sure all of us in thread know more about it than anyone in the video knew about it. LOL

Their price analysis was terrible. That was all just way off.
Comparing 4cly base price Lariat to Raptor when seldom is there actually a base Lariat on a lot.
Once optioned up to be close in features and capability to the Raptor, the Lariat is far from a 10K price gap between them, more like a $3-4K price gap which is why it is much harder to see how they will fit this into the line up.

Now if it is an alternative to the Lariat but priced similar, maybe but seems splitting hairs a bit on the Fx4 Lariat vs Tremor.

In the end they didn't have really any new details to add that we didn't already hear about a week or two ago.

Going to be very interesting to see how the Tremor turns out and how it actually fits into the Ranger lineup.

I disagree - I paid a little over $44k for my $52.4k Lariat 4cyl. There's more than a $10k difference in where Lariats and Raptors are transacting regardless of MSRP.

Edit: I do agree that the Tremor is going to be squeezed in MSRP wise, but I think like the Raptor and prior Tremor it will transact higher than other trims, so in reality Raptor premium might be $12k over a 4cyl Lariat, Tremor is probably $4-6k over a 4cyl Lariat.

I don't doubt that a bit. I agree with that 100% especially over the past 90-120 days of year end deals.

In apples-to-apples transaction price yes 10K is possible, I did it with 3 v6 lariats and the one Raptor.

Where there was in fact a $10K transaction price difference.

It did take several ends of model year rebates and discounts to get to the price differences I paid. Which I could not do with a 2026 not ordering one right now.

In the video they were talking stickily about MSRPs and how they compare in the video, I was trying to follow their logic with the placement of the Tremor, which they were speculating nothing factual.

But they felt it would come in optioned and priced like a Lariat. Other than stickers or badging rather it was unclear how they thought it would actually be differentiated from the FX4.

I think it'd be interesting to see the Tremor evolve into a rock crawler versus the Raptor's baja focus.

Front locker on the Tremor and disconnecting sway bar from the Bronco could add meaningful capability off-the-shelf, and distinguish the Tremor from the Raptor without encroaching.

Well that’s unfortunate ☹

I wonder when Ford will have the official announcement and information out? So far we’re just operating off a single story on FordAuthority.com right? Nothing actually from Ford corporate yet?

I assume it was mentioned at the Detroit autoshow. Maybe at the ford event but I can’t find the actual video of it.

im surprised there was no press release.

I am thinking more and more the Tremor is 2027 model addition.
For sure no sooner then Job 2.

Anyone have the dates for Job 2 2026?
