Sales up but only 3716 units produced in January, compared to a 5x increase in production of Maverick, Bronco Sport and 4x of Bronco. I love the Ranger, but after years, it's clear Ford doesn't want to put much effort into production and marketing for NA market.

I still feel Ranger is hands-down the best mid-size truck in driving, performance, and value. But we'll never have aftermarket accessories like other countries. If ford isn't producing the volume, there's no value to aftermarket companies to invest.

Impressive seeing the Ranger sales in a very strong upward trend.
26% year over year growth has to be getting the Ford execs attention.
That the Ranger is proving itself in a segment worth their time and investment dollars.

january is the start of 2026 production so historically it has been lower production numbers

I don’t think they started building rangers until the later part of January.

it will be interesting to see what the numbers are in a few months

Drove off the Hertz lot yesterday in a brand new taco sport TRD. I’m actually quite shocked how rough the ride the drone of the engine… just the whole package that I ever thought about getting into one of these truck versus my RR. I know they’re different but their worlds different in ride quality, engine performance and interior. In my option, the Ranger is just better in everything. Ford has a real gem on their hands and I feel lucky that I know about it and the rest of the general population doesn’t.

I certainly hope so, but I fear the majority of their attention is going to be directed at the 18% drop in F150 sales.
I would imagine that was anticipated and has a lot to do with that Aluminum plant fire that took out one of their main suppliers' sources for the Aluminum they use for building the F150s.
I believe they were forced to cut production on the F150s to compensate for lack of raw materials.

I’m seeing a 13% increase for Bronco sport and mavericks, and a 19% increase for broncos. Where am I missing g the 4x and 5x numbers from?

If ford would just add a very dark tan or tobacco brown interior with matching armrests . I would bet it would really boost sales big time , over what they’re offering.
And they need to definitely do some media promotions of the new I4 engine improvements. Because this is why I purchased my Ford Ranger .
And a lowered STX Ranger for the old guys , that are tired of climbing up into a high truck would also increase sales.
