how did you deal with the button, does it come off, or you have to cut a hole and force the cover over it?

I cut around the pushable part and pushed it through. Not around the solid bezel.

For now I left it alone. No hole cut. Maybe once I own it for more than a month and a half I might go ahead and cut the hole out.

OK. This was the easiest upgrde ever.

I ordered the part based on the info in this thread from my dealer.

The two boxes came literally three days later.

Stripped the covers from both the new ones (folding) and the original ones (Raptor).

Switched the cover around. Did not even bother cutting a hole through the material. You can feel and press the fold button through with no issues.

That's it. Folding headrests with the proper red piping...

Took 15 minutes at most...

Are they the same part number for both sides? I am looking for the black cloth ones.

Not sure for cloth. Was the same for leather.

Yes, same part number for both sides, just be sure you use the correct part number for your interior material and color.

@bossy -- Thank you so much for post #96 with all the pictures and the correct part number. I just placed an order through Ford for the same 2 headrests as in your post and am very excited to finally be getting a clean, tidy solution to this glaring oversight by Ford. Much appreciated!

Yes, I just ordered mine from Lakeland Ford. $48 each and $12 shipping. A few places had them a few dollars cheaper but shipping was almost 3x’s as much.

Yes, they'll fit, I put them picked up a couple on eBay and put them in my '25 but didn't swap the covers yet.

Does your Lariat have black or tan leather? There is a part # in this thread that has black leather headrests. I would imagine there would be a part # for the tan leather headrests unless they did not have that color in 19-23.
