I wasn't aware of the mirror signals, I have a 2025 XLT late production and I don't know if I have them or not, will have to check. I assume they are not visible from inside the cab?

I found a low mile 2024 Shelter Green that I was ready to purchase, then I discovered that you couldn't flat-tow the 2024. Although I typically trailer my vehicle behind the RV, there are places I can't take a trailer and need to flat tow. That pushed me to the 2026.Shoutout to everyone who got a 2024 for the most robust features for this gen Raptor. They just keep deleting things every year.
Late 2024, maybe after october will be the short golden production months, as they addressed the braces then.Yea how about those robust j-braces from 2024 job1…
I got a 2025 and honestly can live without the park assist, 12v in the bed, and whatever else they took away. I would probably get a little upset if I didn't have the mirror blinkers, just because price keeps increasing and features decreasing.I found a low mile 2024 Shelter Green that I was ready to purchase, then I discovered that you couldn't flat-tow the 2024. Ok, then how about all of the 2024 Rangers are the only ones in history unable to be flat-towed? Or how about those weak vacuum-assist brakes? (I test drove a 2024 and didn't like the brakes or the 2.3, so I ordered a '25 with the 2.7 and while waiting I ordered EBC pads and rotors to improve the brakes. I only realized when I got my truck that the brakes were upgraded and I didn't need the EBC's). My point here is that each model year will have it's ups and downs, and which is "better" comes down to a subjective decision we all have to make for ourselves. I envy the 12v in the bed of the 24's or the sunroof option of the 26's, but I wouldn't trade my '25 for either of them for reasons...Late 2024, maybe after october will be the short golden production months, as they addressed the braces then.![]()
Relax bud, wasn't meant to be that serious. Enjoy your truck!Ok, then how about all of the 2024 Rangers are the only ones in history unable to be flat-towed? I'm not sure what you mean by this, I thought the P button merely disabled park assist for the current drive cycle.but the 25 did lose the auto park and instead you get directions to parking when you use the p button. I could think of several better uses for that button
Yeah the whole Ford truck market is really over complicated and overlapping. To me the mavericks only make sense at 30k but the tremor is 40k and you get into a Ranger at that point. Same with the Ranger, to me, excluding the RR the Ranger Laritat doesnt make sense as you can get a F-150, if towing is a main Key to the vehicle.Ford does not want the Ranger to rob sales from their cash cow F150. Im afraid they will never really promote of emphasize the Ranger in north America, because of this. I almost wonder if some of the lack of features or their removal is to try to drive consumers to an f150.
Toyota puts tons of effort in their tavomas, but its because they've never been competitive in the full size mkt so they can try to be the best selling midsize truck as its not hurting tundra sales.
Im.hoping Ford will wake up and realize these are really seperate markets and most Ranger buyers would not have bought an f150 to begin with,. And as others enter this market it will grow and they'd better decide now if they are going to be a true player in it or not. Having all your emphasis on f150 is very short sited long term. Many people dont need a full size truck and the maverick isn't the answer for them with it's limited capabilities, and 4 cylinder engines.
Im sure they say for most everyone f150 and for city people the maverick. But many need f150 like capability, but im a smaller more practical size truck. Wake up Ford!!
Yeah the mirror blinkers is ridiculous. I am thinking to add them back in I will need two new mirrors and the loom. Which I believe is going to cost about $1200 USD per mirror OEM. When it only saved Ford maybe $2 a mirror. I am picking my 2026 up on Thursday, so Ill be able to see the mirror connections on the door to make a better call on what is needed.Late 2024, maybe after october will be the short golden production months, as they addressed the braces then.

there is no Self park in the 2025I'm not sure what you mean by this, I thought the P button merely disabled park assist for the current drive cycle.
for me, I can’t put a f150 into my garage, it is too large to be a daily driver. Off road, a large vehicle is not necessarily an asset. I don’t tow or if I do, it will be small trailer.Yeah the whole Ford truck market is really over complicated and overlapping. I keep finding new features! I did know that my truck won't self park (thankfully) but the 24s did, I did not know the P button tries to find parking.there is no Self park in the 2025
the lariat for 2025 also lost the fancy electric raptor shifter and the ability to automatically shift into park
the p button now tries to find you the closest parking spot using gps
give it a try.
well I guess it is the pee button.....I keep finding new features! I did know that my truck won't self park (thankfully) but the 24s did, I did not know the P button tries to find parking.
At my age I would rather the P button found me a restroom....
This has been said an awful lot, and when I was shopping I was hoping there was at least some truth to it, but it didn't take long to realize that there wasn't *enough* truth to it for me. Even with crazy discounts and incentives on the F150, to get one for what I paid for my lariat ranger I'd have had to get one that was rather stripped down, and as a daily driver, those were concessions I had no interest in making. And if I didn't care about the creature comforts I could have saved money by buying a lower trim ranger. Sure, I want to tow and haul, but I also want to be comfortable when driving with or without the family and lower trim levels of any model didn't appeal to me. There's a video where they got a $43k maverick, a $43k ranger, and a (discounted to) $43k F150 and compared the three. These guys actually get it. Yes, you can get any of them for roughly the same price, but very very few buyers are going to go from one model to another strictly based on price.Yeah the whole Ford truck market is really over complicated and overlapping.
