I think these trucks are pretty quiet. I don’t hear any wind noise from the door seals. Nothing rattles on my truck and the stock goodyear territory at’s are a very quiet tire. Granted, my hearing is less than ideal, but I think the 6G rangers are a quiet truck. Could they be quieter? I’m sure that they could be, but I’m not looking at spending any money on sound deadening materials.

Coming from a 5G Ranger and a 24' full size Bronco this 6G Ranger is really quiet inside on the road.

Anyone else have the same experience?
I have the exact opposite experience.

It has the most road noise of any non convertible vehicle I have owned. Lots of threads here say the same thing.

Its quiet compared to the Bronco convertible, sure.

Not sure about 6G, but have the P703/RA Ranger PHEV and it’s hard to tell if it’s running the petrol engine or electric-only. Seems pretty quiet to me!

I hear ya…it is mostly quiet…I really like that.

but I get a bit of wind noise from the rear upper drivers door - right by my left ear - which I wish wasn’t there….😤
Same for me, but both rear doors making wind noise.

I too came from a '21 STX. First thing I noticed is how much quite it is.
2nd thing was the ride was much better in the 24 FX4 than the 21 RWD.

One of the most notable things I noticed in the '26 Raptor was lack of engine noise coming from the 2.3L in the 5G XLT. Those of you who are noticing less noise, is that with the 2.3L, 2.7L or 3.0? Or all the above?

Same exact place. I move my head forward four inches and don’t hear it. But where I sit it’s right in my ear and a very specific spot, it seems for most.

I am very happy with how quiet my RR is. Main reason I did not buy a Bronco. I occasionally get a small vibration sound from that metal looking trim on drivers door panel, however if I push in on it when it does it, it goes away and does not return for awhile.

I get an occasional 'pop' with elbow pressure on the door arm rest. I hope it settles in time. (Not even 500 miles yet.) Otherwise a much quieter truck than my 5G.

I like my ranger, but my 2016 F-150 was significantly quieter. Wind noise is pretty bad.

make sure it's not wind whistling coming from the gap where the driver's side mirror folds.. I had a super annoying whistling noise above 50mph and couldn't figure it out for a while then discovered it was the wind hitting the edge or corner where that mirror folders in that crack. i filled it with some silicone stuff and the noise went away completely.

I used to have that annoying whistle coming from the mirror too. I was gonna try some silicon on it but the whistle has since gone away on its own. I still have wind noise, so maybe I need to look at the mirror again.

I too had a Bronco prior to my Ranger. It is much quieter. But then again, I think I had a bad hard top as it was worse than my '15 Jeep Rubicon.
