Hey everyone , 😁
just for fun, let’s say you’re a Ford designer. 👀
What’s one thing you would add, remove, or change on the Ranger
Which part of the truck would it be?

Have the Braptor seats as an option. Auto down for the rear windows. Rear vents in the center console. Little details. I love the truck but with anything there can be some minor improvements that can make a big difference. (@Granite Stater memory mirrors was a big miss. Adding electronic adjustable steering wheel linked to the memory seats would be nice too).

Placement of the rear sliding window switch could be in a different location every time I use it the driver behind me thinks I'm giving him the finger. The USB port should be illuminated so the operator of the vehicle does not have to feel and search for it being that's its tucked under the center console. Have an option to disable the auto down for the windows. If there is one I would like to know from somebody on this forum how to disable it. Some individuals like that option but it's annoying to me and very distracting while I'm driving trying to get the right opening that I want. Maybe it would be a good idea to have a sensitivity adjustment for the touch screen. And having and option for more of a level stance for individuals who are not interested in towing. Ford might sell a lot more trucks. Just look at all the lift kits that are sold. And there's more!

A MagSafe raised puck charger instead of the current phone heater

a warning that the rear window is open if you exit the car with it open

a heated seat switch or at the very least, a large touch screen icon on the hvac center console page

a real structural bearing non hollow bed cap. Bed caps that allow water to Runoff

option for a full size msrching spare and rim

numbers under the small gauges on the top of the instrument panel

an option to turn off auto start top

an option to turnoff or at least reduce the time the seatbelt reminder remains displayed.

an option to remove the ford apps displaying on the center console. Aka CarPlay android suromfull use of screen

Tool-less removal of tailgate like EVERY other Ford pickup - even the Maverick has it!!! My 2024 tailgate looks very difficult at best to remove due to what appears to be a torsion bar that presumably unweights the gate for lifting.

Also, to remain in Eco mode 100% if time. I drove from WV to CT a week ago and averaged 26mpg in eco.

Mine would be the following:

1. Fender liners that sit a bit higher up inside the wheel well to clear 34's / 35's as a factory option for those that want it kinda like F-150 can option between 35's and 37's or the Bronco's can option between 33's and 35's.

2. Cooled seats, have them for first time in the wife's CX-50 and they are nice on those hot days when the car has been sitting in the hot sun (black leather).

3. Memory mirrors for driver position and yah, memory steering wheel would be nice for vehicles that see different drivers frequently. Somehow, my cheap little Mazda 3 Carbon has memory mirrors but my 60k Raptor doesn't...? WHAT THE HEKC!!!

4. Factory angled sliders as option over side steps.

5. Factory high clearance front bumper option.

This would be nice. Also, reverse down angle for when you're parallel parking.
Saw that option in forscan. Didn't try it though.
