Speaking of this, is anyone else's Homelink range abysmal in their Ranger? My rear bumper needs to be just about touching my garage door before it will open. I've never had this issue with any other vehicle.

So far the 2 times I have used it when approaching home I think I have been anywhere from about 50 to 75 feet away, or more.

Yes, it's all rangers with owning several and having other vehicles with home link as well.
I can safely say the Rangers home link range is the worst I have ever seen.

I have firsthand seen this short ranger issue with 6 different 6G rangers.

I had no issues, I removed the tires/fender flares and was able to access all screws. Took me maybe an hour and a half..

I assume you mean the fender inner liners? Glad to hear you had no issues. I want to do this mod but so many people talk about how difficult it is. I have not seen a video where people take the tire off and remove the inner liners to get to the modules.

Yes sorry the liners - it really wasn't that hard. The top screws on each side of the module was the most annoying and it was just because my little ratchet screwdriver couldn't get full turns. I wouldn't be worried, just make sure you have a small ratchet screwdriver.

I can sometimes get mine to open about 200ft down the road, but always within 100ft. How is your antenna on your motor? Do you have a lot electrical devices running in the garage?

My home link sucks. My Honda opened the garage door when I turned onto my street from 150’ away .. this one won’t work 50% of the time sitting in my driveway if it isn’t lined up just so.
